I have nothing but deepest respect for our fans who regularly go to away games in the Champions League group stage. It's a huge commitment in time and money to watch something that is inevitably going to be an utter and total stinker.
At home we sometimes play some half-decent games. Away from home our CL group games are unwatchable.

Think the central 3 have been really disappointing. Giggs and Rooney have more than enough experience to know to stop trying to keep passing 50 yards or so, especially when we're just getting organised from one of their attacks. We just look unbalanced atm, which isn't surprising given the middle. One of the middle 3 need to try and get closer to Hernandez who can't get in the game. Think nani and then Valencia have been our best players.
I don't think Rooney or Nani have been awful, just not great.
I'm starting to not like this diamond formation.4-4-2 or 4-5-1 is what United should play.

Quite a lacklustre half. We need to improve everything. It's just a bit predictable what we've tried to do, and it's not working. I'm struggling to remember moments where we've actually got in behind them.

I thought we controlled the game, albeit by passing back to our defenders each time we've had a corner.
It's not really a diamond, closer to a 451 than a diamond imo. The middle 3 though are just staying too deep and not trying enough short passing in the final third, they either play it slow around the half way line and then punt it or just punt it straight away.
Dreary half, we look listless and have been sloppy with our passing.

DDG has hardly touched the ball. He had one save, which any keeper worth his salt should be able to hold on to.

I haven't really been concentrating on the game fully, but Ando and Nani had some nice interplay on the right, which lead to Valencia being in acres to swing a ball in. He's done enough for me to not be awful...
Fergie, I beg you please bring on Cleverley on for Giggs, if there's one thing I want to see happen it's this.
This is actually painful to watch, that first half has actually given me a headache. It also doesn't help watching such a boring game when you have the most boring man in history Niall Quinn doing the commentary.
