Well I, for one, am not buying this calender if Ferguson has decided not to put Nani in it.
I know me and my fellow non-calander buying fellows will be costing the club a lot of money and we will probably not be able to afford that midfielder we need in the Summer because of this but we need to stand by our principles

Ok larsson, I'll bite. You wanna gain some credibility by jumping on the wagon then by all means. Now, you got your reply and hopefully this will go toward rep and you can live happily ever after :-)

Last years calendar had no Valencia, Welbeck, Giggs, Ferdinand, Carrick or the twins. Someone has to give way so the 2 shiny new toys can be shown off (Kagawa, Van Persie)

Surely I can defend myself no? Do I need to be 5k posts to qualify for that?

Eh? I'm still trying to figure out if you're being serious. It just seems a massive overreaction to innocuous jokes.

Anybody take anything from his omission from the clubs calender?

Many apologies for quoting myself Cina...I know it is blasphemy afterall.

My original quote, in now way discussing transfers or calender costs or anything like. Simply a post in r relation to an article in the paper haha. What a bunch of pretentious fans. Any wonder the entire league hates us. I hope to god I ain't sitting next to ye in the Stret

659M fans worldwide. Let's say for argument sake, the figure has not changed. If 0.5% of these buy a calender for themselves or kids or as a handy Xmas present (going on IMR amazon prices), this equates to 13, 180M.

So we make 13M quid a year on calendar sales?

I'm sorry Gaeilge, I know you don't like me, but if you can't see how funny this is then you really need an overhaul on your sense of humour. Or, a reality check.

Sorry man I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, that post was just waiting for someone to slag you off. It is a funny opinion and some of the newbies are up in arms as well which is worrying at the same time as it is hilarious.
The day a football supporter worries about who is on a calender is a sad day. There are other things to put your energy towards

Gaeilge only quoting himself as he is the only one worth discussing with. My grandma suffered the same problem at the time she turned 90.

I can appreciate jokes but that's not what that was. More of an attempt to belittle in my books but if you claim joke then OK, a joke it was.

My joke about RvP? I reckon you'd have to work pretty hard to take offence to that, tbh.

If we are only talking about calendars then i think this is hyperbole.

If he is omitted from the next batch of official MUFC nightwear then Ill start to worry.

I used to have a United duvet. On one side was loads of United crests on a background of red and black stripes. On the other Steve Bruce and Robbo lifting the PL trophy. I always slept with Brucey and Robbo facing downwards. Looking back it was slightly weird.

Although, I do love the idea that we sell to 0.5% of our WorldWide 659M fanbase. That means Nike make £148,275,000 for every new shirt they release... they are screwing us, big time!

I also love the idea that this gnome will make us £39,540,000.... that's RVP plus Kagawa, with change, for a fecking gnome!

Haha you are a hero man.

There is a group of us here and I guaranteed I could get ye in heap over nothing lol. All it took was Google> united fanbase estimates and ye guys haha. What a group of hero's

Gaeilge, calm down. I just made a quick comment about your "the calendar is a massive money maker and something must be wrong if Nani has been excluded from it".

Well, come on, surely if you think about it you'll realise that a £4 calendar is not a massive money-maker and that there are only 12 months in a year, hence only space for 12 players.

Once you realise that you may just regret your bizarre over-reaction.

As we have previously agreed, the Nani situation is not good and we all tend to agree that he'll be off, but going off a calendar that also excludes, Rafael, Anderson, Rio, Evra, DDG? .... come on mate.

I would love to have a United duvet. But if it happened, I would either have to have the players facing up, or the wife would have to start wearing more in bed. Im not having Vidic scowling at her snatch all night.

I thought it would be impossible for this thread to get any more ridiculous.

I was wrong.

Next up....

Snow Dwight and the seven dwarfs, just imagine the revenue :drool:

There could be something in that.

In particular this bit:

Our good friends at Opta have provided all the stats you need Michael and I can tell you that Stoke City have, on average, the tallest squad in the Premier League - no great surprise there! Their squad is, on average, a centimetre taller than their nearest rivals Bolton and almost 5cm taller then the Premier League's smallest squad; Manchester United.

I know it's old column, but that's not big difference in height at all.

What the feck is Fergie doing, leaving us only with 12 players next season.

Those calendars are aimed at kids anyway, just like the annuals. Kids love seeing new players on it every year.

Gaeilge, you need to be less uptight. Much less uptight. Also if you and your imaginary group of friends log on to 'WUM' poor us again, you and them will have to find fun elsewhere.

When they included stats in that calendar, how the f*** could they include Welbeck? Kids would go to their daddies crying over how poor their favourite February player is.

Is he still injured or has Fergie just given up on him and preparing to sell him in January?
