Swansea City vs. Manchester United

A point away at Swansea is ok.
The way the game played out, it feels horrible.

meh.. make sure we dont drop any more silly points anytime soon.

credit to Swansea but what a horrible display by us, Valencia, Rooney and Young to some degree didn't bother to show up. Our best chances came from set pieces. The width offered zero today.

Yup..

We did it last year..

We will do it again. It's a mental problem, they can't deal with the pressure of being chased.
It's so frustrating, similar in 2010/11 when we drew with Newcastle and lost to Arsenal to set up Chelsea having a big chance to win the title with a win at Old Trafford.

Very disappointing, there were a few tactical things I didn't get such as Scholes coming on instead of Welbeck but today the players just didn't do enough. Even at the end there was no real urgency. That last minute was just a waste of time.

What the hell was Evra doing at the end?

Giggs played well when he came on. Can't comment on the rest as could only start watching from then.

I don't know if I just don't like Evra or there is just something about his game that pisses me off. He waits for the ball and that slows any pass so much. When he is receiving the ball, he takes it with unnecessary skills that puts him under immediate pressure.
Then when he gets into the penalty box, he takes forever to provide a good pass, and even if he passes in the box, it is usually a stupid pass.

How fecking lucky they got?

Thought we absolutely shat over them. Our forwards were terrible today.

Hit the bar twice and every little fecking thing was dropping their way in the box. This pure, lovely little Swansea also have some cnuts in their team, but it won't be mentioned.

Unlucky, we destroyed them after a bit of a shit first half, no idea how we didn't end up winning that one but we had some great play. Thought our chances to get anything were over once Cleverley came off to be honest. Giggs was great when he came on, and that's how he should be used. Not all too disappointed in the end as coming into the game I felt like it'd be the one game in the next 5 that we are likely to drop points in.

Who are the bellends saying Cleverley was shit?

He and Carrick were great and one of the main reasons we controlled the game with such ease in the 2nd half.

Our forwards let us down. Both Young (who I thought was okay) and Rooney, missed chances. RVP only had one chance from nothing and struck the bar.

They just fell to the wrong people today.

Yes, let's blame Paul Scholes who came on with five minutes to go. If only he could have played to a similar standard as our talisman Wayne Rooney then all would have been good.

Why Paul Scholes gets singled out is beyond me.

I'm not blaming him or singling him out for us dripping points. I'm just pointing it but that he's finished.

It's so frustrating, similar in 2010/11 when we drew with Newcastle and lost to Arsenal to set up Chelsea having a big chance to win the title with a win at Old Trafford. I miss the times of 99/00 and 00/01 when the team never had problems with having a big lead in the league.

You guys are too harsh on your players!

I doubt many clubs will come away from Swansea with 3 points.

Not the big ones anyway.

We were below par for most of the game. Draw is deserved for both sides. Not the greatest result, but not the worst either.

Giggs did well. Scholes was on for too short a time.

but do display your ignorance of the game.

Giggs was okay, but I don't think he should be on as a game-winning substitute. He's still too slow and has one too many misplaced passes.

Scholes was just awful. He needs lots of game time, he really can't make a difference in 10 minutes of football every 2 weeks.

Dire performance. Rooney and Valencia in particular need to have a hard look at themselves after that pathetic showing. If they were horses they'd both have been put down halfway through.

Rooney was the main culcript today, he ruined all our promising plays with his dreadful passing, Valencia's form is very worrying, it's like he's lost all confidence on the wing and can't do nothing now

Anyone else delighted with how good Vidic looked in that second half? He was very shaky in the first but he was absolutely dominant in the second whenever he had to do anything.

Don't pay attention to those that will be crying thier eyes out in this thread for the next few minutes, they don't really represent us.

Exactly, I thought the newbies was full of ridiculous knee jerkers, but the loast page or 2 have been ridiculous.

Disappointing yes, end of the world? By no means.

We have 3 games in about 8days now, it's a reminder we can't just turn up to win.

Let's be glad a bad display has resulted in a draw rather than loss.

Not sure what's going on with our wingers. I've been a big Young defender, but as of late our wing play has been awful at times and it's actually starting to cost us in my opinion (Though our end product today was terrible, we actually created chances and failed to take them). Nani is possibly the most inconsistent player I've seen in quite some time, but right now I'm seriously hoping this guy get's back to fitness as soon as possible to give us more options out wide. Same with Kagawa, who can come in and change our entire shape, because right now our wingers are really struggling at times for some unknown reason.

Pretty gutted, should of won this one with the chances we were creating and the positions we got ourselves into. Carrick was our best player by a country mile.

We dominated the second half, Swansea defended well but we were so static and hesitant in the final third we allowed them to get organized way too often. Not the worst place to get a draw but with all the openings we had it feels like 2 points thrown away.

A point at Liberty Stadium is good, it's a tough ground.

Everybody would've taken a four-point lead at Christmas, we can't complain.

It's just when you watch the game, that's what make you regret we lost two points.

It is not about form for Valencia. He has been figured out. Anybody and their dog knows what valencia will do, where he will go with the ball. Now it is just a matter of getting there before him and you make he useless.

Tbh, I was concerned with his lack of speed.

One of those days. Swansea were lucky. Rooney and Valencia were poor.

Giggs was excellent on the left.

If we hadn't played well it would be a good point but to drop points after the amount of chances we created is what makes this draw so hard to take.

Giggs made some very good passes. Giggs best contribution these days is on the wing imo...never in the center. Scholes was on for a very short time....and I would agree is not going to be a game changer in that time.
