Six Feet Under

Fan-fecking-tastic for the first two seasons then had ups and downs until the final season which was amazing again.
Whether you loved or hated the characters in the show, it made you feel something about them!

David and Keith were what made the show great, in my opinion.
Claire was a bitch throughout. Nate started off awesome, but became a douche. In the first two series, his relationship with Brenda was great TV.
Ruth added quite a bit of charm to the show, even though she acts mental at times.

The last episode makes me sad to even think about.

the episode where David gets carjacked is one of the best episodes of anything ever.

You forgot Nathaniel. What a brilliant character that was!

I always loved Claire. One of the most well written rebellious teenager characters written.

The pilot had this very satirical approach with the whole advertisements for body restoration. Wonder why they never went ahead with it in future episodes.

Very good. Just recently started watching it for the first time with my girlfriend. We both thoroughly enjoy it although she still finds it a bit odd seeing 'Dexter' acting gay.

oh yeah, the dad is amazing. I love his secret life!
Tbh, I never liked Claire, she was very well written and acted but I dislike her. Even though she looks a lot like one of my friends.

Pilots are often different from the main series. I imagine they would run out of ideas for the adverts pretty quickly! :)

Its actually the other way round. Hard imagining gay David playing the role of a cool-ass serial killer.

How could you not like her Drainy? I think I'm in love with her.

Haha. She is an incredibly self-centred person. Plus her taste in men is horrible.
She genuinely thinks the world revolves around her and it shows with a lot of what she does.

When she has the successful art series and gives no credit to her friend even though he helped ferment the idea she uses.

She might be beautiful, but shes a bitch.

Finished watching Season 1 earlier, really enjoyed it. Mind you, it is a bit strange watching Dexter kiss black man. Not that I'm homophobic or racist. I just don't like black gays.

Anyway, does the quality maintain throughout the series? I've been told it has one of the best endings to a series ever, which I kind of wish I hadn't because I'm constantly trying to guess what it might be. Though on the other hand it's the reason I started to watch the show.

Anyway, onto Season 2.

I'm currently addicted to this! About to watch the season 4 finale... I just don't want it to end!

Season three blew me away. So much awesomeness!

Still think it's the best TV I've seen. If you know L.A., it's even better. Spot on. The quality maintains, even gets better, but the finale kind of sucked.

Fell in love with that drab Maggie quaker chick who came into being in the final season. First fictional-person-love for me. I still think about her.

One of my favorite series, without question. I lived in LA although, I never quite picked up the feel of the city from the series - interesting observation.

Just got through the last of 63 episodes last night. Took about a month.

Great show. I'd only seen the first two seasons before. The acting in it, everyone, first class.

Some of the opening death scenes are gnarly. It makes you realize how fragile life is.

What a fantastic series finalé. Brilliant.

Season three and four were pretty annoying for me. The art pretentiousness grated on me and the other story lines seemed to drag but by the end I loved the show again. Best finale I've ever seen.

Yep, Six Feet Under's finale will never be bettered. Amazing ending.

I personally thought the finale of the aging of the characters was so bad it was laughable. They should never have tried to do that. No one should. It's like trying to dramatically film sports action or fights and whatnot. It's bound to look too phony.
