West Ham vs Manchester United

Three centerhalves, or are we playing with Evans/Smalling at full back with Rafael or Buttner on the wing?

Scholes, Cleverley, Welbeck & Kagawa - sexy football.

Didn't we tried this 3 center backs thing against WBA at the end?

Rafael at right wing?

------------DDG
------Smalling Vidic Evans
Rafael-----------------------Buttner
--------Scholes Cleverley
------------Kagawa
--------Chicha Welbz

Hopefully.

We won't play three at the back.

Have we ever started a game with 3-5-2?

No, Rafael and Smalling on the right side of the pitch. 4-4-2. Fergie loves this.

It's a Fergie FA Cup team. Looks very lightweight to play against these brutes.

3-5-2 then?

We played a portion of the WBA game like that so maybe. I'm guessing it'll be either Rafael or Buttner on the wing though.

Can't remember who said it recently but I agreed, Rafael on the wing ahead of Valencia is a good choice right now.

I like to see Welbeck and Hernandez playing together, I think it's good for their game of they have to shoulder responsibility some times rather than have their seniors in RVP or Rooney to look to all the time.

The XI is pretty strong all things considered, just hope the change in formation doesn't cause any problems.

Yeah we certainly did.

Think it's a 5-3-2.

That it is. Rafa is actually a good crosser of the ball too, which is something that Valencia is dearly bad at right now.

So Rafael either on the wing or a wing back in a 5-3-2... Will be interesting to see.nice lineup though, giving A few people more playing time and they'll hopefully be ready by the Liverpool game next week (Vidic, Rafael, kagawa). Hopefully Saf just doesn't want to rotate de gea and this doesn't mean that lindegaard will start vs Liverpool.

I believe we will see this formation probably:

de Gea
Small Vidic Evans Buttner
Rafael Scholes Cleverley Kagawa
Hernandez Welbeck

That doesn't make sense.

De Gea has played the 5 previous matches, SAF isn't gonna bring Anders for the Scousers match.

I expect:

------DDG------------
Smalling-Evans-Vidic-Buttner
Rafael--Scholes--Cleverley--Kagawa
--------Hernandez---Welbeck----

Wouldn't be surprised if

--------DDG-----------
Smalling--Evans--Vidic--Buttner
Welbeck--Scholes--Rafael--Clev/Kag
---------Clev/Kag----------
---------Chicharito------------

I'd probably expect to see that 2nd line up than Fergie abandon a back 4

Rafael on right wing won't work I think. He won't get the same space as he usually gets playing as a full back. Valencia is dropped.

I remember Rafael playing on the wing vs. Arsenal in the FA Cup before, he and his brother tore them a new one...

Rafael might actually play as a left back with Buttner on the left wing (which was his natural position originally), then perhaps Kagawa/Cleverley/Welbeck on the right.

fecking Fergie and the question marks he brings.

: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Tomkins, Potts, Diarra, Nolan, Collison, Joe Cole, Vaz Te, C.Cole

Cole, Cole, Collison and Collins ? You can lose track of that :)

Nah it's fairly obviously going to be 4-4-2 with Rafael on the right.

I'm predicting a really good performance from Cleverley.
