Hard for Smalling to be a RB when our right mid is ending up as a centre forward, left mid, and everything else apart from being on the right wing. Rafael is possibly drunk.

We've played some nice football at times, some good build up play and passing and movement but defensively we're slightly shaky. Need to stop conceding stupid FKs.

West Ham are the failed footballers version of Stoke. fecking long ball cnuts.
 
if only Anderson would be healthy already, I'd love to see him in this game.

Nonetheless, good half, should win it if we keep focused.
 
We're playing very well. Think Rafael go back to RB and Tony will come on as a sub.
 
The Rafael experiment has not worked. Welbeck has been our best player by a country mile.
 
West Ham fans time wasting in the first half. Ridiculous. The way they celebrated the goal shows this is their CL final.

Taking an age to find a pass when there's no options. The play is ludicrously congested.
 
Rafael-Smalling combo is not functional. Hernandez has gone mad, at times was playing as a No.10. Kagawa at moments is brilliant to watch, as Welbeck is though he could have done better with that chance. Anyway, a pretty beautiful match.
 
The problem is Smalling is too far forward, so the pass in to Rafael in front has to be expertly played. Smalling has failed it twice, but so has Cleverley. Theres just very little room to smuggle it to him unless Smalling is 10 yards further back and allows more room for Rafael to get free
 
Good half of football. Some real zip to the game right now.

A shame we conceded that goal off a cross. Nothing anybody could do about it. Maybe should have closed down cole a bit quicker but it was really well placed cross and good header.

I'd like to see us keep up the pressure and see if we can keep playing at this pace. There is a distinct lack of width in our buildup but its actually refreshing to see so many interchanging attackers and some great movement/passing.

This has always been their biggest game of the season. Remember the scandalous effort they put into those title deciders.
