Manchester United vs West Ham United

Anyone think Hernandez should have finished it himself? Totally unselfish maybe knows how important it is for Rooney to hit the ground running.

Brought up that 'offside' goal about 14 times now.

He's clearly not though, some interesting commentary so far.

Just showed the line across the pitch, level with the last man, perfectly timed run.

I know, I don't understand where they get the commentators from.

Buttner's close control lacking at times.

I really rate Diame, would be surprised if he's still there next season

I think it shows Hernandez's attitude as well as the teams mentality of doing what is best for the team.

Did Diame play for Wigan this season (ie, can he not play for another club this season)?

Reading too much in that.

He clearly decided it was more likely to be a goal if he passes, and I think he was correct.

I always think that if someone is in a better position to score than you, you pass to them. Shows how much of a team player Hernandez is that he never looked like shooting once he knew Rooney was near him.

The football gods actually did us a favor by forcing this replay. It's a terrific tuneup match for a number of our players who needed quality work before we resume prem action v Tottenham.

Agreed. He's also said in interviews loads of times that he doesn't care who scores as long as the team wins.

The correct decision by the lad from Guadalajara. You always choose the easy pass for the tap-in over a difficult shot on the full stride.
