Fulham vs. Manchester United

I'd have played Nani right and Kagawa left to be honest. Valencia doesn't deserve to start at the moment.

Valencia is going to have a great game today. I can feel it.

Really? I mean....he's getting back to his old self game by game, and if Rio can play 2 games in a week so can Vidič, I think that it's just because Fergie doesn't want to risk any more injuries.

Madrid is a priority so if it has to be just one game it'll be Madrid definitely, however I think if he had to he would be more than able to play both.

I'd rather have Vidic for the Everton game though if he plays either one. We're going to need him up against Fellaini.

Good line-up... though would love to have seen Giggs start. He's a one man highlight-reel at the moment.

I'm glad Valencia is starting. He's hardly going to rediscover his form on the bench.

Well, when a player performs like he has done for months you can't keep playing them. He deserved to be benched ages ago, but Nani and Kagawa were both out injured. Luckily we have more options now.

You're right in saying that he's going to be needed for that....but to me facing Real is just more important than ONE single PL game (even if they're both clearly important games), and Vidič is hands down our best defender, and if he keeps improving like he has done for the past couple of weeks he could come back to his best, and his best is....well, the best. :)

And alongside him I'd have Smalling or Jones (preferably in that order) because we're going to need some fast legs in the back against Madrid.

Valencia will be our MOTM today.

Jesus titty fecking christ would those guys just let it go already?
De Gea's here to stay, he's young as hell and he just keeps improving....not to mention he has the 4th best save percentage in Europe...just suck it up and watch him dominate in a couple of years.

I swear I'm fecking sick and tired of all of this bullshit already.
As a former goalkeeper I can understand him more than about 95% of other people, the GK position is the "worst".

Players can make up to 10 mistakes per game and because they're not the last line of defense those mistakes might not come to anything, but a GK only has to make one mistake before he's scrutinized to hell. It's a "lose-lose" position and these idiots aren't helping at all.

The only people whose opinion should count are goalkeepers, goalkeeping coaches, or managers.

Even Neville who was a hell of a player and is a hell of a pundit hasn't got the slightest idea what it's like to be a goalkeeper, regardless of his football knowledge.

Are these wankers trying to say we're going to send De Gea back to Spain?

fecking terrible. The back 4 have protected him well and he still makes mistakes. Was 5th for saves per minute in the league which suggests differently.

Is it odd that I'm far more nervous about this and the Everton game next weekend than I'll be for the Madrid tie? :nervous:

Good line up apart from Kagawa not starting, lets hope Valencia can return to form. Glad to see Cleverley back in the middle.

All I can think of is the Premier League, couldn't give a feck about Real compared to the Fulham and Everton games.

Got to shit on De Gea before the game, as per usual.

All these pundits are fecking morons. As bad as Keegan claiming Welbeck hasn't had many games.

Even with Valencia out of form, that is exactly the team I wanted today.

Rafael behind Valencia is a formidable attack and with Nani on the opposite wing they're going to have to come up with something better than doubling up on Valencia if they want to stop us which will leave space for Rooney in the hole if they decide to put a midfielder across to cover either wing.

I'm expecting a big scoreline.

Same here. I really find myself not too bothered with what we do vs Madrid as long as we can win these PL games. I'll be really disappointed if we put out a weakened team next weekend because of the Madrid match.

in our favour I hope;)

Evra looks as if he has a cold. Hopefully his performance isn't hindered.

He made me laugh when he said Nani has something to prove and with Valencia you always know what your going to get.

Seen many of our games, John? Fat bastard in a shit suit.

It's like they don't actually watch any of our games. Everything goes on reputation I guess, and not what actually happens on the pitch.
