Fulham vs. Manchester United

Heck that was a hard to watch last few minutes!

Great result though.

Stacks and stacks of pressure on City tomorrow now.

Michael Oliver and Kevin Friend ref and fourth official combo - like something out of a circus.

Ugly 1-0 asked for, given. Job done.

Wasn't that ugly really. We could have been 3 up at half time against a team fighting for their lives. Fulham played with great commitment but were undone by our greater resolve at the end

Fulham timewasting since the 46th minute, get 1 and half minutes extra time and moan when we decide to waste time.

Great 3 points.

Huge 3 points for us. Puts us 10 points ahead and the pressure firmly on citeh.

This was the type of performance that wins titles. Backs to the wall and with one moment of class from Rooney to win the match. Some frantic defending at the end but we came through with the clean sheet.

I thought Evans and Evra were really good today. So was De Gea. Ferdinand was solid but uncharacteristically gave away the ball in a few crucial moments.

Terrific result!

Don't get why we can play the ball around and out easily the whole game. Yet after we go in front we simply win the ball back and boot the ball long. Just invites pressure whenwe should be controlling the game and killing it off, not hanging on with last ditch clearances and tackles

Decent performance but I was uneasy all of the second half as it just felt like it was going to be one of those days after the first half woodwork bad luck, thankfully Rooney stepped in with a fantastically taken goal, vital 3 points.

Great win for us and 10 points clear at the top. Pressure now on City for their game against Liverpool tomorrow.

Mancini taking a long shit -- a good 10 inch loaf -- right now. Is there ANY doubt that if he does not hold the prem trophy in May that he'll be sacked?

De gea Evans and rio were brilliant today. Fulham are inconsistent but whilst they caused problems, those three did their jobs very well.

I expected just the one goal to separate the two teams and despite the fortuitous shit defending from Senderos, it was a wonderful finish from Rooney.

I'm not even sure the title could rescue him really. The only real thing going in his favor is whether or not there's anybody currently available to come in and take over. Mourinho will always be mentioned, but I still don't believe he'll go there.

Good performance from us, good defending there at the end although it was a nervy ending. Rooney was fantastic all game, great finish as well. Thought Nani was refreshing to see on the wing, and made loads of chances in the first half. Valencia decent on the ball but doesn't look that threatening. Always takes the safer option on the ball. Back 5 was great.
RVP was decent today, even though he was covered well. His corners are brilliant though.

I wouldn't put it past Jose to take the City job. There's every reason to believe Fergie will serve another 2-3, maybe even 4-5, seasons and Jose can't wait forever.

My heart still hasn't quite stopped beating hard since the moment Friend blew up for that late foul. Pheew
