Manchester United vs. Everton

Ok, awful was over the top as he's scored and got an assist, but it's annoying with the offside decisions and the open goal miss. Still, job done for him.

Better.

But he has got involved, done a lot of running and his off the ball movement have all been good too. A goal and an assist is about as good as it gets for a striker though, is it not? (obviously barring the odd hat trick)

Why is everyone on Sky ignoring Rafael's pass? It was fantastic.

His whole performance was, in fact. That was a 9/10 first half.

Because he needs to have five seasons of great performances before people perk up and realise he was good all along. Opinions on full backs seem to be a few years too late.

Still don't know what caftards see in Fellaini.

He's just an Andy Carroll but he plays as an attacking midfielder instead of a no.9

He's a quality player. Take him out of Evertons team now and it's pretty much game over. As it stands I think everyone wants that third goal.

I think that's been a balanced half. Heitinga mistake on RVP for the first goal but both were taken very well compared to the chances we have had and not taken.

Fellaini has done well I've thought considering Jones is hampering him. He's got away from him and created a few times.

Your real pb has been the CF department all season.Jelavic's form from last season never got back and Anichebe is shit a wrestler and not a footballer.Someone should never be this big as a footballer, it hinders his performances, agility, mobility

Well Fergie never man-marked Carroll so I guess he's with the tards on this. Fellaini's no world-beater but he's a handful.

Apparently he's sensational and the answer to conquering Barca's midfield.

I've never got the hype and probably never will. Don't want him anywhere near our club.

Really? I though we were shakey for the majority of it. RvP's goal definitely came against the run of play.

I didn't expect us to cruise this game, it was always going to be difficult and I think we've done very well considering the circumstances. I am however worried we'll still be 2-0 up at 65 mins, bring our best players off (understandably I guess) and then concede a goal soon after. As we found out last season Everton aren't going to roll over for us like most teams would in this position.

You just knew RVP would make up for his earlier miss.

I disagree, that angle is not as easy as the TV make it to be, saying that, for the standards he has set, I had already started celebrating. It looked like something Forlan will do when he was here lol.
Now, you can't blame him too much as well, the service has been lacking and at times he founds himself not sure what our players will do and hence all those offside positions. I only fault him for one offside, the one Rafa passed to him in the box. That was lazy.

Tbh not a lot of teams have rolled over at OT this season for Utd, the second half will be tough

Sounds silly but there really is something about United players. Stick Rafael in another team and everyone would be going absolutely mental. Same with Smalling, Evra, etc...

By the same token Fergie didn't man-mark Messi in the two Ucl finals.

Fellaini is a handful but I was talking about caftards desperate to have him here as a midfielder. He's not good enough for us.

No one said that but he can do a job defensively and offensively and he's a good player to boot. When Chelsea sign him, you'll see that. Chelsea do better against barcelona and that's becasue they pressure them which is what Jones does and what this lad can do.

Ryan Giggs is now the second oldest scorer in Premiership history, jumping Tugay, Hughes and Graham Alexander and Stuart Pearce.

He is still over a year younger than Teddy when he scored in 2006.

Believe me, I've seen people say that. And even people on here have over hyped the guy. I'd never say he was bad as he's clearly not, but he's nowhere near as great as some make out and certainly not the answer for us. But hey, we'll see mate.

Good bit of play from us. Nice passing.
