I didn't fear him that much at Old Trafford, but I definitely would of feared him at their place. He would have gotten a lot more opportunities.

He scored the 5th goal for us in that 5-2 comeback win that one year when we were 2-0 down at HT at OT.

He also scored against Spurs in the 5-2 comeback. Made that move too.. passed it out to Rooney, got inside the box and scored.
Wonderful goal, wonderful player. The world has gone mad when a forward like that is at Fulham.

He's been outshined by Bryan Ruiz in a lot of games. I'd say he's found his level if he wants to be one of the main men in a team.
They are finally using him as a striker, and not like he is playing friendly game and is trying to be involved as much as possible without any benefit to the team.
Nar, he's a higher level than Fulham, but just a lower level than a top team.

I have to agree, his technique is brilliant. After seeing that Nani miss the volley, i was sure Berba would've scored that shot.

Berbatov's goal is better than Rafael for me because it needed more control.Two superb finishes though
Its a great goal but definitely Rafael for me, harder to keep that one down running and under pressure and from distance.
What? Are you serious? How is it harder to run onto a moving ball as opposed to one coming from the bloody heavens?
berbatov's probably the harder skill but Rafael's the better goal IMO.

IN fairness Berbatov did not have to come onto the ball really, it fell to him. Rafael struck his on the run.

Well the way Rafael's goal set up every player in the league is going to have a shot. 99 times out of 100 it's sliced out into the crowd. But although of course there was an element of luck Rafael still had the technique to pull it off.

Hitting a moving ball, which is bouncing as well, is a lot harder than one that falls down to you, in my opinion.
They're both extremely difficult, but I think the time Berba had to watch it falling compared to Rafael having it moving and bouncing makes Rafael's a little harder.

Because its easy to rush yourself when you are under pressure and get under the ball when its bouncing out like that
Berbatov did exactly what you'd expect a good player to do, took his time and made sure he got good contact. If players ran in and blocked him they blocked him, he just had to worry about himself
I think Rooney could have scored the Berbatov one, he's another very good vollier(sp?) and Aguero too, he used to score some great ones for Atletico. Not to take anything away from it but I think most of the better strikers would believe they could score that one if they got the contact right. And thats where luck comes in.

found his level. berba is happy and can fully express himself without the weight of playing at a big club.
Not sure about this theory. He's a quality player and should be at a much bigger club than Fulham. He would score loads in La Liga.
Agreed. He's only scored 4 goals in the last 15 league matches for Fulham after a great start for them. The pressure would be immense on him right now if he was at a top club with those kind of stats with the team built round him.
