Would love it if he went to Madrid, and his first bit of transfer business was to sign Gareth Barry to replace Xabi Alonso.
Come on, surely you know there's a certain club dying to get Rafa back?![]()
The paranoia could be justified. Given that Rafa himself knows that he won't be at SB long-term wants to put in a trophy on his CV to nab a good next job. Always felt that he doesn't give a shit about the league and a CL qualification coupled with a cup is his agenda atm.
Surely this would become obvious right away though and lead to his sacking?
I honestly believe that the only thing keeping him from being sacked right now is the fact that is would make the board look even more stupid.
It takes a bigger man to admit you made a mistake, and that's what we need right now, big men!
Terry and Rafa are as Big as they come
Rafael Benitez has admitted Chelsea are struggling under the strain of playing too many matches and may need to sacrifice cup competitions to guarantee a top four finish.
'We are playing too many games, games each three days. You have to manage your squad.'
So he wasnt the one who picked a full strength team for the pointless game on thursday then?
Argh, this man makes me so angry. I want to punch a squirrel.

There's a RAWK goes into meltdown, Bluemoon goes into meltdown, Arsenal-Mania goes into meltdown, why is there no Theshedend goes into meltdown thread??
The Arsenal thread has grown only four pages long in eighteen months and it's boring as hell. The fact is, Arsenal and Chelsea websites aren't populated by the bitter, paranoid, delusional normans as are their Liverpool and City counterparts, thus the latter are the ones who meltdown at a rate of four or five pages a week whilst the former are largely ignored
That's probably down to just the size of the community rather than anything qualitative.
From the gooners we have on here it's evident that they can be just as inspiring.
You exaggerate. The Gooners have their moments, but to say they can be just as 'inspiring' as the Scourers is ludicrous.
Just think for a second, what a lucid mind like alastair would be able to accomplish, given an opportunity in the environment that inculcates poetic expression as much as rawk.
It would be a page-turner and you know it.
Doubtless, but the simple fact is that Arsenal and Chelsea fans aren't as susceptible to bouts of nauseatingly mellifluous doggerel as such are rife in the cringemill of RAWK, and neither are they as bitter and ravingly paranoid as the collection of lamebrains over at Blue Moon, and thus, our world is as it is, with the focus of our amusement firmly fixed upon our two most bountiful lunatic asylums.
I don't think anyone in England will touch Rafa after this, his only hope is La Liga and he didn't need another trophy on his CV if he wanted a job in Spain, he's just a clueless idiot who has has finally been sussed out.The paranoia could be justified. We've generally given United a good game - it's fair to say we have been as close to anyone as being your bogey side in the Premier League era.
It's like some clubs point to our home attendances as evidence of us being a small club and it's true that there were some shockers in the 80's and early 90's, but away from home we had one of the biggest/best away supports in the country. We're the 5th best supported club in England in all-time attendances etc...

Picture the scene.
Spurs miss out on the CL this year again, whilst we scrape in. This summer we sign Cavani and some top midfielder and we push for the title next year. Meanwhile, Spurs enter a decline, finishing 8th and look destined for eternal mediocrity. Bale gives it another year out of loyalty but is looking for a new challenge.
But he has a small child to look after, and the old mining villages of the north don't appeal, Barcelona have Neymar, and being a galactico at Real Madrid just doesn't suit him. He wants a bit of stability in his life.
Out of contract and looking for a new challenge, he picks up his phone. It's Arsene with the special phone call he used on Ramsey and Cazorla. His dulcet tones give Gareth goosebumps. He quivers as Wenger describes the five year plan and reels off a list of former great Arsenal left wingers in whose illustrious footsteps Bale would be stepping. It's a done deal.
The next morning. Voila. Campbell-esque. Ape-ish grin on one side, Arsenal shirt in his hands on the other, Bale poses for his first photo as our new talisman, and leads us to a magnificent title.
You mean like this:
I actually believe that.Sportsmail understands skipper John Terry, who has been overlooked since recovering from injury, then made a passionate case on behalf of the players, even though he wasn't even on the pitch at the Etihad Stadium.
