Varane has been a boss except defending against Vidic on Corners.

If we get enough deliveries right on the corners then i am confident we'll score one of those.

Edit - If we get enough corners ofcourse.

ITV just played the same clip and Keane rolled off the same comments that were said in the first half. Shambles is ITV
 
I think the game has been relatively even. We've been more threatening on the break, but Real haven't done too bad with the possession. Even shots on target. Still can go either way.

great first half. held them off when they pressed the first 15 minutes (they're playing into our hands by not pressing). great defending. we've actually had the better chances. we'll be playing toward the stretty now and as we all know...we always score when playing toward the stretty.

I did say "slightly". It has been a good game nevertheless.

I expected at least a goal, and more tension. The way Real held to the ball for so long with pointless passing whilst behind on the scoreline and Kaka waiting to come on is a perfect example of that.

Real lacked urgency, and the result favours United. It is slightly boring if you're not emotionally attached to either team. A goal from either team would make wonders, and even with the absence of it, more pressure from Real will make it a lot more interesting.

I think it is much of nothing. Their lad should have got sent off in the first leg. I don't think it's that big a deal. Some decisions you win some you don't

An early goal in the second half would be nice but we've been here before. We just have to play without fear and remember we're just as dangerous as they are...and we still have a better bench

Van Persie should be taking those corners.....We have enough good headers in the box to feed from his sweet delivery. An early second half goal....pleaseeeeeeee!

Just some random dude who's feeling the exact same thing the rest of our feeling. We want this thing to be over, with victory of course, yet inside all of us we want this game to never end. Incredible stuff up and down the pitch.

Giggs has been very good bar that first awful, typical Giggs tackle. Welbeck has completely shut Xabi Alonso down.

Second half will be cracking. Absolutely cracking. Come on United!
 
Just been reading a bit of Game of Thrones and I wanted to share this: the man who fears has already lost. And something about fear cutting deeper than blades of grass. Deep stuff. I hope the lads read it as well.
 
I don't think Mourinho did expect us to sit back.

I reckon he thought we'd come out flying trying to nick two. Shows my bollocks I had us down to do that. Ferguson is a master.

I'd bet the majority of those 600 million people would agree with me. Another half of this and United will be through with a 0-0 and about 6 goal chances for both teams the entire game.

Quality football, but could be more entertaining.
