Played fine. Valencia is not currently as good as him he has been awful all season.

Look I like Nani but can we keep him away from corner kick duty?

It was a shocking corner and led to Evra getting booked. But yeah apart from that he has had a good game,

Yeah he played well, bar a few mishit passed early on, and feck me he can't take a corner

I'm going to blame management for the corners, I mean he's shown that he hits the first man 90% of the time anyway.

Good when involved, provides a good outlet going forward and has helped out defensively as well.

The only positive thing you can say about his corner is at least it was better than Villas against City yesterday. Good half otherwise.

one of the worst decision i've ever seen and it's in a game like this.

WELL DONE REF YOU feckING TWAT

Can anyone try to explain the thought process that made the ref think "yeah, red seems about right"? I simply don't get it. Yeah, the foot was high but it was clear as day that he was always looking for the ball. I reckon many refs wouldn't even give a booking for that! Can't fecking believe how you make a decision like that, in a game like this. Utterly pathetic. Sickening.

Disgraceful sending off.

De Jong got let off for far worse. U can see a little kick out! But no fecking way was that a red.

Hard luck Nani. The poor bastard.

The most hilarious part is the pundits on TV in australia are caling it 'a clumsy challenge' a 'silly challenge anyway'.

HE WAS JUST TRYING TO CONTROL THE BALL FOR feckS SAKE.

There is no kick out, your foot and leg moves when it hits something. Not the tinyiest bit of malice in that, just shit refereeing!

Listen you don't send a man off for raising his foot. He sent him off for a assumption to kick a player whilst in the air. You see his foot flick out on his way down. I not arguing this with you because he should hav never got sent off. But that's what happened.

Played well tonight. Gutted about the decision. Hope he does sign a new contract.

Nani didn't see Arbeloa. It was accidental hence why a red was harsh.

He proved Sir Alex was right to start him. Played very well, sometimes up there on his own looking to create something. Hope he's here for the long run.

Getting sent off for an innocuous incident that happens in a normal game pisses me right off. He shouldn't be made to feel like it's his fault.

This decision could make him or break him. Rightly or wrongly, we've lost a mammoth tie because of his dismissal. I think the entire club will rally around him, but I am unsure whether that will be enough - he's always seemed to have precarious self-esteem. If he has the character to make amends, we could see a brilliant Nani for the rest of the season, but it could as easily go the other way.

His immediate future will be interesting. Ferguson pretty much has to start him in our next game, else I fear it could really damage him.

I agree with this. He was playing very well and always looked threatening

I hope Fergie starts him in the game against Chelsea on Sunday. I am not the guy's biggest fan but that was just a horrible decision and I feel for him. Bad luck really sticks with you.

It was a very good performance from him. I hope he takes whatever happened today in his stride and plays out his skin for the rest of the season.
