What a terrible performence 2nd half. I've never being so livid, seriously. The game passed our midfield by, notably Cleverley looked exhausted. Rafael was very poor 2nd half, Evra didn't bother his bollocks to get back when ramieres scored. Valencia was feckin diabolical too.

if Chelsea go out of Europa league the replay will be on a wednesday before we play city.
You have to credit benitez for making the right changes though. Really changed the game and got them humming.
On the other hand, I felt we shouldn't have taken off Javier Hernandez. Kagawa and Cleverley would have probably been the better shouts. Although its baffling that those two looked spent when they didnt even play against madrid midweek.

All that matters is that Fergie gets them on track for the Reading game and they go from there. The league is certainly at risk with players showing this kind of form.

It would seem Evra has become so complacent and lazy in the last couple of seasons.
Deserved to lose that, we were shocking. Terrible reaction to the loss against Madrid. We looked motivated for about 15 minutes. Then just fell apart.
Chelsea just showed much better technique than our players, they deserved to win.

Not the first time we've seen this, if it is one of the few times it has actually cost us somewhat. We just can't seem to stay switched on for a prolonged period and everyone takes their eye off the game. It's been going on, of and on for a few years now and whilst we usually have the quality to overcome it, we don't always.

I saw it differently, Mata and Hazard changed the game for them.
I'm livid after that performance. First 10-15 minutes we were great, but then we fell apart, especially in the 2nd half.

That was shocking. Valencia, Cleverley and Rafael were horrible. Carrick and Rio were class.
I'd like to say we're lucky to still be in it, but I doubt we are with a trip to Stamford Bridge on the horizon.

Apart from DDG no one has reached normal form during that second half, I don't know what happened to the lads during half time but that looked like a completely different team that came out for the second half.
