Manchester United vs. Chelsea

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Just a personal message to you mate, you're an embarrassment to United fans.

The FA Cup is gone. Chelsea want it much more, that much was clear today. Can anyone tell me otherwise?

Bottle job. I'm going to just switch off from football for a while, I'm in a shit mood as it is.

Chelsea players want it. United players do not give a feck. That only ends one way.

Don't talk tripe mate. We were lucky today to get out of that one I admit. But ffs, don't rule United off before we have even played.

A shocking second half performance from the team allowed Chelsea to completely dominate proceedings. Benitez made acute substitutions which solidified their control over the match and enhanced their potency in attack. Perhaps we should also have made tactical adjustments before the game started to fully turn in their favor. Only De Gea’s vital interventions prevented us from losing the match and forced a replay. As it stands, I am not really optimistic about our chances at Stamford Bridge if the mentality of our players doesn’t improve significantly and if the effects of the Champions League exit are still lingering in the background.

Gone? before we have played the replay?

feck off.

They should change your tagline to "Talks Nonsense"

Feel free to take the piss out of me relentlessly if United go through so.
But all I care about right now is the Reading game. And its my assumption from today that the League is all the United players are bothered about as well.

To be honest we deserved to fight back for the chronic level of piss taking, arrogance and complacency that went on just before and 12 minutes into the game.

Exciting game though and I'm concerned we missed our chance when DDG pulled off that wonder save at the end, we're not exactly massively better at home.

Several things-

Tactical errors- rooney is not a left midfielder nor is kagawa.

Evra and valencia absolute tosh and have been all yr

Mata was outstanding

I forgive rafael and evans their worst displays of the season

V poor

Rooney is okay there, but he is the in form striker and is wasted out there.
I'm not buying the Evra criticism., Valencia - yes. He certainly has been off his best this season.

The entire second half, did they mount any attacks down the left side?

The game followed the exact same pattern as the league game at the Bridge. With us being saved only by Ivanovic's dopeyness.

Don't think you'll need to be better. Start Hazard and you'll probably win, especially if we play like we did for 70-odd minutes today.

Just once if we could get a kind draw, we have to beat Chavs & Shitty to get to the final now.

True but either way, we'd more than likely have to beat both them and City anyway if we wanted to win it. At least this way one of the smaller teams get a place in Europe and also an FA Cup final. I'd love United/Wigan final.

If that's the case then the players need a kick up the back side. It's one thing for the manager to select the starting XI based on priorities, but once a player is in the team all that matters is to perform to the best of their abilities. They don't decide what important or not. It's not an exhibition match after all. The players in the team today are more than capable of a better performance than that. The got sloppy and complacent.

The replay affects the league too. What should have been a routine six points before we play City now becomes a little tougher to manage and a potential swing in momentum just when City were drinking at the last chance gay bar.

The FA Cup is gone. Play some kids in London.
There has been a very bad reaction to Tuesdays game. Some players have lost their heads.
All that matters is that Fergie gets them on track for the Reading game and they go from there. The league is certainly at risk with players showing this kind of form.

For somebody who is usually a decent poster, this is bollocks.

Really poor today. Went from being on course for a comfortable win to bending over.

Our passing and lack of composure was shocking. Need to get the heads sorted ASAP.

Carrick was excellent. Valencia was embarrassing. I haven't ever seen him play that badly for us.

some days it's pretty embarrasing to be a United supporter.

How many of our "Fans" are posting petulant comments about it being the worst performance ever, how we're rubbish, how this player that player are crap, how we should write off the replay.

Man up you saps, we didn't even lose today!

It's pessimism from here to the end of the season for me. The closer we got to kick off the more confident I got. Never again.

Every match thread is going to see this sentence from me:

''I got a bad feeling about this one.''

Such a disappointing game, I really thought we'd be up for it and 15 minutes in I thought we were, then Cech saves from Rooney to stop us going 3-0 up and we seemed to ease off.

Truth was Chelsea were back into the match before half time, then they were easily the better team in the second half and should have won it, our passing just eroded and we were bullied out of nearly every 50/50.

I thought Welbeck should have been on sooner and he did forge one opening for us, only RVP seemed to moving in slow motion.

Dreading the replay.

As soon as Rooney's goal went in, we were shocking. Couldn't muster a decent chance at all. Thumped the ball straight back to Chelsea, and when our defenders eventually found our midfield/attack, they just lost it again.

Awful game to watch, and now we get an unneeded replay.
