Manchester United vs. Reading

Surprised by the CM line-up although I'll give Fergie the benefit of the doubt on this one :D no Carrick so that's very unusual, and surprisingly no Cleverley in the team, not even on the bench.
The good news though is that Valencia isn't starting, which pretty much makes up for whatever other rotation Fergie chose :)

Jesus Christ, the team isn't that bad.

Ryan Giggs has been one of our most in form players over the last few months, And Anderson gets alot more stick here then he deserves. Obviously Carrick is going to be missed, but he needed a rest. Cleverely wasn't good at all against Chelsea, so that explains him not being in the squad.

Welbeck to me, could be a better winger then a striker, but him and Wayne will swap about a bit.

Anybody who's watched the reserves will have noticed that Buttner has been coming on leaps and bounds, especially going forward. The Reading fullbacks don't attack so much, so he shouldn't have to many overlaps for him to worry about.

Expect us to play a bit of a deeper back two if Shane Long is doing his usual running about, Smalling will have to be aware of his runs, as he's much quicker than Vidic and Rio.

Rooney and RVP speak for themselves.

Shane Long :nono::lol:

Anderson and Giggs in midfield could either go very well or very badly.

Worried about CM, hope Anderson has a good game. Tracking back will be a problem for both central midfielders :nervous:

Other than that we should be fine. Welbeck, Young, Rooney & RVP is an excellent front four.

Christ, are we back in 2011?

Shane Long never stops running and is pretty fast. He's a really effective lead the line striker.

We are going to get overrun like feck in midfield if we decide that we don't like passing to our team mates. Probably should have let Hernandez get another start too.

Don't see all the fuss

Strength all over the pitch. Goals galore.

Kevin Keegan spouting nonsense.

That outfield is basically just made up of 3 centrebacks, 3 wingers, 3 strikers and 1 attacking midfielder.

I hope we spend the entire game in their half, because I don't trust that XI to be the sort of side that slows the tempo down and keeps possession in the middle of the pitch for extended periods of time.

New manager and a 'weakened' team for us, just hope that's not enough to make those feckers raise their game to new heights.

Here's the Reading line up.

Hahnemann, Murty, Ingimarsson, Cisse, Duberry, Doyle, Hunt, Harper, Convey, Lita, Kitson.

Subs : Taylor, Rosenior, De la Cruz, Matejovsky, Long.

They've left Long on the bench so we won't have to worry about his runs.

Damn that's one poor side they have at Reading.

Ashley looks like a nice guy!

"Look, Rebecca, love, I know why you're here. You know why you're here. So why don't you pop into the dressing room, untie your hair, put on a bit of makeup and do your fecking job, you daft tart."

How does an analyst who is supposed to be unbiased get away with drawing a picture of Fergie outside the ref's dressing room? Complete cretin.
