Stoke City vs. Manchester United

Take of Hernandez around the half mark and bring on either Welbeck or Nani and push Kagawa behind the striker.

Growing tired of these really weak performances. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stoke to get back in this game. United poor and giving Stoke all the encouragement to attack. For a team that has used wing play so well for such a long time - we fecking suck out on the wings!

This would be quite cool now.
City are away to Spurs before then so hope they drop points there and we can win it at home to Villa :)

Stoke are such a fecking disgusting team. They are just full of utter, utter cnuts. Note how they love to pick on all the smaller players like Hernandez and Kagawa. The sooner they go down the better.

We're playing well, without creating much. Rooney, Kagawa & Carrick look good.

Those neat touches here and there would be needed all over the pitch to keep posession better. He's the reason we still play our way through their pressing in midfield at times with his intelligent passing.

Dunno about that tbh. He's gotten pushed off the ball like our 2 strikers and has a pretty ordinary pass rate even by his standards.

He needs to cut in, beat a man and create something with a through ball.

Welbeck should come on for Hernandez(or RVP) and play out left. Push Kagawa in behind the RVP(or Hernandez). Rooney and Carrick are already doing a good job in CM, but they're not creating enough chances. We need more goals to be safe.

Agree with this. We've not looked threatening out wide 1 bit.

Ignore Cevno... The guy has been anti-Kagawa ever since we signed him. He's probably one of those muppets who wished we signed Hazard instead..

The Plastic semi coming up later. No need for the players to swap shirts after the game.

Fans singing "always the victim" at Stoke players contesting a decision and LFC followers on Twitter have to make it all about them. Which, ironically, makes the chant more appropriate than ever towards them as well.

Yeah I'd like to see Kagawa come inside too, he's not a winger.

I think Kagawa has been excellent actually, if we took him off we would see a noticeable drop in comfortable possession.

Last season the potential scripts were winning the title at the Etihad or having City giving the lads a guard of honour.

With respect to Ando's fitness, I couldn't disagree with you more. It's all on him and not on his teammates.

Where we might be able to agree is that you can see Ando has the tools to be successful at a very high level. Whether it's his fitness or his heart, he just can't put it together even for 90 minutes, let alone a nice run of 4-5 games.

you really can't see that our quick 1-2 passing and our ability to open up defenses through the middle (and not just through United's typical wing play) is better when he's playing?

I'm hardly saying he deserves to be a starter, I'm not saying he's one of our best players or that there's no room for improvement, I'm merely pointing out this 1 aspect of United's game which improves with him on the pitch.
How can you not get that?

Hernandez needs the game time and he's doing well to at least keep their back line working and constantly stretching them. Not a chance we should take him off.

What you on about Weirdo ?

I've never been anti-Kagawa. You are his biggest fanboy and see him as the next Zidane and above any criticism.

And Holyland Red wasn't even responding to me. :wenger:

Well I would say we certainly need to buy a top class central midfielder.

It's like playing against shire horses.
