Liverpool

We're all different mate. If I was a bitter sort of person I wouldn't have been able to have posted on a Manchester United forum for the past 6 years, seeing United win countless league titles & other trophies, without 'exploding into a mushroom cloud of bitterness'

Some people can't even watch their side lose a match without venting their spleen at the side responsible for causing such an atrocity.

Retardman. Definitely not bitter, definitely not retarded.

Definitely never embarrassed himself on here with extreme bitterness and retardedness.

Big fat meh challenge for me. He backed in and it should've been a free but beyond that really it wasn't bad. The kick didn't injure jones. He wobbled his ankle on Coutinho's standing leg on the way down which caused the problem.
If 5 ft -346 Cuntinho doesn't go in dangerously for a ball he's never going to win, Jones doesn't get injured, it's as simple as that really and how people get injured regularly from it. Players doing stupid dangerous things that are unnecessary.

:lol::lol:

edit: Obviously the players don't regularly get injured from stupid shit. Just that usually when people do stupid shit like this on a football pitch that is dangerous, someone gets injured. This case and point.

Ah come on mate you described a Coutinho kick out his leg as almost being a Mortal Combat death move. I didnt even here the "Finish him," comment.

Regardless of over exaggeration it was dangerous and stupid from Coutinho and in the context of the match, down right dirty. It injured Phil Jones and he got away with and in the same play Cleverley was carded. It was absolutely ridiculous. Dangerous play that lead to an injury and people are trying to make excuses for it, 'oh it wasn't that bad', well tell that to Jones and United.

It was wild but it certainly wasn't as dramatic as is being made out. Oh and Cleverly wasn't clever in his reaction to the ref not giving hte decision. He was booked for a bad challenge and dissent I think when he could have made his point to the ref without doing either. That is why he was booked.

Did I misquote you?

This is feckin absurd with the leg kick out. It's like a fecking mortal combat sweep for christs sake. Apart from being dangerous as feck backing into someone in the air intentionally like that.

I am still aghast at how the ref didn't blow a FK instantly. Implying there was not that much niggle is ridiculous. Nearly every challenge on the ball the Liverpool players went in 100% regardless of whether they were going to seriously injure players or not, let alone win the ball. To be honest on a few of them they were lucky that the ref was such a massive homer and/or some of our lads saw them coming.

Seems I didn't. Just looked like you overreacted.

Nah you're just talking nougat.

It was a stupid and dangerous challenge without the mortal kombat sweep.
I have no idea what that is. Backing into an opponent is not dangerous it's just a foul. But you seem prone to over reacting especially where Liverpool are involved.

It can be quite dangerous depending on how high the player jumping in the air is, like the Sagna one the other week where he landed on his head. It's Anderson's go-to tactic for winning the ball aerially though, I'm surprised at how often he gets away with it.

A mate was telling me that he is looking forward to watching Moses but he thinks that he didn't really want to move to Liverpool. Makes sense. How excited are the lads here? I've always thought him to be a pretty rubbish player in truth, still don't know why he moved to Chelsea.

Only someone who's rarely played football can come up with this stuff. I've seen him one of my mates break his collar bone because a cnut purposely backed into him.

Exactly, it's actually crazily dangerous. If someone is in the air and you know them off balance their falling out of control. It stuffs up your landing.

Ditto. Can be clearly seen that Coutinho made no attempt to win the ball at all. Was surprised it wasn't a card but with the ref being a homer, what else is there to be said?

It's a cnuts move too because the player in the air is defenceless against it. There's a fecking good reason you're not allowed to tackle someone in the air in rugby.

I'm a centre half and have played ball for a good while. The forwards back into you when you jump. You just have to be smart. It can be dangerous but from the above gif it's clearly Jones landing on Coutinho's standing foot that causes an ankle injury and not Coutinho's flick kick that did it. What other stuff have I come up with here?

As mentioned above I thought it was a foul but the ref never gave it and as far as dangerous challenges go I've seen worse in netball.

Moses is a strong and fast winger. Played well for wigan and chelsea when I saw him. Sometimes his vision and decision making are a little off but still a decent player. It's a world cup year and with Chelsea's abundance of midfielders I'd say he would've wanted a regular place in a premier league side to show case what he can do. Not sure if he wanted the move or not but as a pro he should try make the most of it.

Ref was paid in advance. Quite clear from his countless decisions in Liverpools favour.

Only meant it for this specific comment that backing into a player isn't dangerous. I wasn't even considering the Moutinho/Jones situation, that comment you said was a bit stupid to me.

That was situation discussed in the gif. Ghaliboy seemed to think it was a move out of mortal kombat. I said it was an over reaction.

Has one person insinuated corruption from the ref? We said he was a homer and utterly horseshit but no more than that.
OK so my take from your posts. Liverpool are cnuts and played cnutish defensive football but deserved the win but also in their favour the ref was horseshit and a homer..........grand so I'll leave that there. Oh and the last post was sarcasm. I don't actually believe that the ref was bought....

I know and I supposed I should not have taken your words as a general affirmation. What Coutinho did was not the worse kinda of backing into a player I've ever seen tbh.

Yeah it was a foul but not a terrible tackle. The way Jones landed on his foot was very unfortunate.

We lost a tight game in which they were better than us for 35 minutes of the first half.

Second half there was only one side in the game but we couldn't create for toffee and they defended well.

Time to move on folks. We've won the league numerous times after losing to those shit cnuts at their shit hole and I suspect we'll click into gear very soon and start overtaking them.

Need to give them a fecking shoeing at OT in the next two games we have against them.

Only took 4 pages but you got there. Well done! ;)

I said the sweep was dangerous and cnuty after you tried to insinuate there was hardly any niggle in the game. The run in and challenge for the ball was dangerous and uncalled for which injured Jones, simply just going in for a ball he's never going to win was dangerous caused the player to be injured, if innocuously. If he had have braced Jones on the way down in a non dangerous manner, stayed under him and not tried to follow through with the sweep then he also probably wouldn't have been injured as he'd have come down under the player with some bracing. Frankly I don't know what the feck he was playing at really, if it had connected then Jones could have been swept 90 onto his back etc.

Now that has been explained for a fifth time I look forward to the next time you try and play down someone doing something dangerous and unnecessary and injuring a player. Stay classy.

There was hardly any niggle in this game. You have shown one challenge here which is just clumsy and a bit spasticated. Other than that you're clutching at straws and trying to make drama where there was none. Dull enough game which Liverpool won. Irwin has stated his case as to why he thinks it was won as have you. I have stated mine. I'm not asking you to explain anything.

I guess you missed Gerrard trying to elbow Van Persie which somehow was given a foul by Van Persie, Lucas going in late over the top of the ball on Welbeck which was missed by the referee. Lucas flying in without looking into the back of Evra which was bizarrely not given as a foul, Skrtel trying to get RvP sent-

, nah enough. I'm done.

We still talking about that shit house of a game? Move on lads :)
