Fantastic line-up, let's have it.
Great insight, Robbie, cheers.
Valencia is a better RB than Smalling and Young or Zaha are stronger offensive threats, still, it's a fine squad as is.We could have, but what would be the point in that?
Honestly, as much as I dislike seeing Jones or Smalling at RB I'd much rather see them as young defenders in need of game time there before Valencia.
Aren't German teams our bogey nation in the CL? I'm sure you're right though.

Can't wait to see the confidence the attacking 4 have with the foundation of Carrick and Fellaini behind them.
Why the feck would you play Smalling rb, doesn't make any sense when Fabio is fit.
So has Evans been injured or something? Hardly featured for us and I was expecting him to get a game today
Fabio is a young defender in need of game time too though, and it's his natural position, if he can't get games at right back when Jones and Rafael are both injured then he's in trouble. I know he played on Saturday, but Smalling was injured. I'd also like to have seen Evans either tonight or on Saturday, but I'm nitpicking, it's a big start to the season and Moyes is going with experience, I'm sure everyone will get a chance soon enough, especially with the league cup coming up next week. Looking forward to tonight, it's a good lineup.Honestly, as much as I dislike seeing Jones or Smalling at RB I'd much rather see them as young defenders in need of game time there before Valencia.
2001. The last time a german side got anything at OT was in 2002, since then we beat Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Bayern and Schalke as well. Oh and Stuttgart too.At OT we've won 5, Drawn 3 and Lost 2. The last time we lost at home to a German team was in 2002 iirc.

Aye, that base should really free up the flair players. Hope we all get what we wanted and expected!
Giulio. He's a young Italian right back, played for Inter last season.Donati? Massimo Donati?
Edit nvm Guilio Donati
Aye, that's a possibility, I don't know how physical this Leverkusen side is.Evans is a shout, suprised he's not playing as he does need game time and should be quite sharp given he played internationals. I think with smalling it might be something as simple as wanting his height in defence.

Hamzah Younus: If we don't win convincingly tonight, then David Moyes has got me well and truly worried.
Confusion tactics.TV3 trying to suggest that Fellaini will be on the left and Kagawa in the centre![]()
