Manchester City vs. Manchester United

That's a very attacking team - Mancini went with a too offensive team last year and it cost them.

Kompany playing was inevitable - he played in mid-week apart from anything else.

Dzeko not starting is good, he's got an annoyingly good record against us.

#mufc: De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Smalling, Vidic, Carrick, Fellaini, Young, Valencia, Welbeck, Rooney

No RvP is confirmed :

MUFC v #MCFC - De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Rooney, Smalling, Vidic, Carrick, Young, Welbeck, Valencia, Fellaini

feck it...huge loss.

I hate to see work ethic over craft in all the big games, I hope it isn't a sign of things to come.

That front four is... uninspiring, to say the least.

Still, plenty of workrate and defensive ability, we should be good enough for a draw.

Terrible to see van Persie on the bench, but the team we're putting out looks good. Welbeck has played well on big occasions and he will help with the pressing. I would have thought he'd play on the left so I wonder where Young is going to play/fit

We'll be fine if Rooney has a good game, he's basically the only creative footballer we have on the pitch.

Smalling on the right :(
Young :(
No Kagawa :(
No van Persie :(

Derby day :D
Vidic :D
Fellaini :D
Man Utd :D
Strong team :D

That's me done for this matchday thread.

fecking shite lineup. Not confident at all anymore, was feeling confident before but only if we played nani and I assumed van Persie would play.
Smalling at right back as well...
