Time to get back to business in the league. Disappointing end aside, we're through that shit set of opening fixtures and it's time to put together a really good run of wins.

DDG
Rafa Vidic Evans Evra
Carrick Fellaini
Nani Rooney-Kagawa*
Hernandez
*I'd love to see Januzaj get a start here, since Kagawa is inexplicably still struggling to find good form, but I don't think it's at all likely. Either way, anyone but Young or Giggs.

First Prem game of the season for me. Can't wait. Hope the atmosphere is still livelier than normal following Wednesday.

Really want a spanking here.

i'm risking VP as cap for fantasy footy. I think Moyes has tended to err on the side of playing the best team where he can. Fergie never rested VP from league games himself.

Could be massively wrong, as Moyes might think starting him in the tricker midweeker is more sensible.

I would like to see this team today but ofcourse it wont happen

Please play Kagawa, he looked a bit rusty but still had some good moments. The only way to get him fit and firing is to play him, this is the perfect game to do that.

De Gea

Rafael Vidic Evans Fabio

Carrick Anderson

Nani Rooney Kagawa

Chicharito

Januzaj and Zaha to come on the second half of the match. Hopefully no Giggs and especialy no Young.

Hopefully no Fellaini in the starting line up, Cleverley, Anderson or Giggs please.

Yes, please. Agree with this a 100%

That team is way too light against WBA who are good at set-pieces and physically very strong

Perhaps, I do see your point. However, I think it should be enough at OT - I'd never go to the Hawthornes with that team. I think Moyes will play Fellaini though.

It's pretty certain that Young won't start the match but Valencia is likely to start once again, even though he doesn't deserve it after his City performance. Nani and Kagawa played well against Liverpool and deserve a long run in the side. After all, the manager should pick the players based on their form.

Zaha needs a chance too and this game vs WBA is one of the games where it might be a good idea to give him a chance to show what he can do. After all, we payed a lot of money for him and if we didn't plan on using him at all, it might have been a better idea to sent him out on loan again. He should be patient but I fail to see what Valencia offers at the moment that Zaha, Januzaj and Kagawa don't. He's certainly useless against teams that park the bus with his lack of technique and left leg and his defensive side of his game has certainly deteriorated.

i think Moyes will simply start the best team available. Get the league campaign back on track after last week's embarrassment.

That hopefully means VP.

I hope Hernandez starts, this is a good opportunity to let him find his sharpness and after scoring the winner he deserves to start. Keep rvp on the bench in case and then use him in CL. Also think at least one of nani or kagawa should start. Got to play games to get sharp.

I'd love to see something along those lines. Januzaj is obviously the muppet in me, but I think it's time to switch it up from young / Valencia with a team who are competent in possession of the ball. For all nani's flair and individual brilliance he gives the ball away far too often. Play a team who will all try and pass and move and have the directness of Valencia, nani and Hernandez on the bench if we need a goal.

If RVP is fit, he will start. I'd like to see some rotation but doubt we will see much change from the side that couldn't string a move together against City. Will be interesting to see the reaction at OT if Young plays. If we could play anything like Spurs are playing right now, then I'll be happy. A goal from open play would be nice.

No chance Rooney will be rested, it would be madness in his current form

Hopefully young has forgotten the way to Ot, adnan and nani with kagawa to make the three behind Rooney I hope

Seen as we failed to win under SAF when I put a predicted line up on the match day thread, I'll try for a reversal under DM.
This is what I'd like to see:
DDG
Smalling - Evans - Vidic - Evra
Carrick - Cleverley
Nani. Kagawa. Zaha/Adnan
Rooney

I've only gone for Cleverley ahead of Fellaini as I think he could do well against WBA midfield.

Would love that trio behind the front man but reality is we'll maybe only get 1. Maybe even none.

Since RVP won't play i hope he fields this XI

Quite a lot omitting Hernandez I see. He surely starts given he got the winner midweek?

Im a huge fan of his (as I think all of our fan base is - I mean how can you not like him?!), but when he starts he struggles to get into games but when hes coming off from the bench he always seems to get in the danger areas. I don't know if its because he has a point to prove or from the side lines he sees where he can exploit defences either way hes much better coming off the bench.

#mufc team v #wba: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Buttner; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa; Rooney (C), Chicharito
