Watched him for the last two seasons. Immense talent. He's assisted 11 of Diego Costa's last 17 goals. I like how he's playing down the left. It means that in first phase, he marks Khedira. I'd love to see us up against Atletico Madrid.

Koke was a little underwhelming in his first game for Spain, but he's a good talent. He's an AM being picked wide due to Atletico's stubborn system, good with delivery for the front players

Never understood why we never went for Koke. Unfortunately he signed a new contract over the summer and his release clause is probably more than what Herrera's is now.

He would be one of those bought for the future because even though he's played a lot of football and in huge games, his success as a partner for Carrick in a midfield 2 would be far from guaranteed, but I think he has the potential to do so. In my opinion, at worst he would become like Cleverley where he's definitely good enough to start, but not a world beater.

As for Koke at a club other than Atletico, he'd probably still need to be deployed as a right or left midfielder which is almost always his role at Atletico. Cant remember really seeing a performance from him in the middle, and really what he is, is a good final ball to create something. Not someone who is going to dominate midfield with his passing or anything else.

I do think. This is the same Diego Costa who received an elbow in the throat from Ramos only a few years ago if I remember correctly. If Pepe or Ramos cannot handle the rough treatment, then they shouldn't dish it out, it is as simple as that, and they do dish it out very often, but against players who don't hit back. Costa hits back. For you, he may be a cnut, but for me, he is your typical Kevin Davies type forward.
