Film The Movies I want to see thread

All being shot on the canon C500 by Shane Hurlbut.

I'd hold off calling him a brilliant actor for now.

He was brilliant in Breaking Bad. If he keeps on making choice like this, though, that's all anyone will ever say about him.
Either the person who made that trailer should be fired, never to work in the industry again, or it will be fecking shit. My hunch is the latter.

Harsh but true. Chances that a "Need for Speed" movie will be good are really, really slim.

What shall I watch out of:

Argo
Compulsion
Best Man Down
Flight
Walk the Line
Blow
Avengers Assemble (seen it once)
Hannah Montana: The Movie
Gladiator (seen it many times)

... or anything on Sky Go/On Demand

Going watching Metallica Through the Never on IMAX on Thursday next week. Can't wait!

I REALLY need to see this, but my mate who would watch it isn't home at the moment and I ain't travelling 20 miles or so to go and watch it alone! Metallica, in 3d with cinema surround sound

A sense of dread fills me with this one.

Absolutely loved the short story, then when it was extended to novel length it became one of my favorite books. Hopefully it will not be as awful as the film version of Startship Troopers (well if you forget the book, the film at least had a certain level of campiness about it).

YES. Been looking forward to this one all year. I've not read the book, though.

Wtf Schwein! Do you scour the net for these "alternative" movies?

 I love watching z rated junk, if I was a director, it's the stuff I would make!

I think I posted this before but here it is for the people that missed it...

Oh dear lord, read the book, it is fantastic. Or if time is an issue, seek out the short story from which the book was built.

"The enemies gate is down"

The book can be disturbing also when you remember just how young Ender and his fellow military school classmates really are supposed to be.

I might do. I recently started reading Dune, have to read that? It's supposedly one of the highest rated scifi books there is, and Enders Game is in the same category.
