It's also a fact that he got sent off, and it's a fact that he deserved to get sent off.

Yup.

People are raving because Moyes put Kagawa in the 10 role... but think of this..

He brought on Ashley fecking Young, and left our red card waiting to happen on the field....

And Ashley fecking Young did more in 3 minutes than Rooney or Chicharito in 60.

Not long after bringing Young on, he crossed a good ball to the feet of RVP who hit the post (one of the best chances of the game). He did more in a few minutes than most of the others did.

Most boring big team in the champions league is what we have been in the last couple of years.

Shite is how I'd describe that 2nd half. Sitters, missed easy chances, sloppy passing, wrong decision making (especially in the last 20 minutes). I don't know what's being said in that dressing room but a few times this season that we've come out 2nd half and looked like 11 drunks who don't know each other.

Dull as dishwater bar the 15 minute spell when Kagawa really sparked into life. It's all well and good saying it's a good away point but they are a very ordinary side and were there for the taking tonight.

Missed opportunity. If we had have won bayer would have to beat us 2-0 to go ahead of us in the group.

Shakhtar win their next game and we lose. Then they level on points with us.

Don't know why we lacked the urgency today.

I'm not sure I'd call that a good point when the three points were there for the taking today.

He played well tonight.

Only he didnt. Made very basic passes aside from 1 nice ball forward, but still managed to sloppily give the ball away a few times. Won the ball less than Giggs and made lots of clumsy fouls, leading to getting himself sent off. Brilliant

You're having a laugh, surely?

tbf, we didn't deserve the penalty in the first place, awful from Young.

I'm pissed off more than anything, never felt like he was gonna score. The only thing that made me smile was all the "what a save by the keeper" when the ball hit the post

I would had put Anderson to run the field for the last 15-20mins... Our ball movement from defence to attack was slow as hell..

Pretty shite game. Decent point considering that Leverkusen drew as well, but we really should have won the game. We could have done with making more chances but the chances we did create, we really should have scored from. Fellaini was daft to get the second yellow, overall he was meh in the game I thought, as was everyone. Kagawa did well when moved to the middle, was okay on the wing too I thought, made a few chances. We need a huge improvement for the weekend.
As long as we don't lose to Bayer, we should be fine. I'm pretty confident we'll beat Shakhtar at Old Trafford, so we just need at least a draw in Germany.

Bad enough I put up with that for the entire match, but to rub salt in the wounds, Adrian Chiles! fecking spade faced cnut.

We'll need that top spot otherwise we'll be in trouble in the next round, why do we have to make it difficult for ourselves always :(

United's twitter account putting Evra, Smalling and Rooney as the 3 nominees for the MotM?? Picked by David may and Lee Sharpe... did they even watch the match?

Not the result we wanted, shame as some very good chances went begging, particularly Hernandez, who we would normally see bury that.

Fellani's was a bit of an idiot as it looked like he kicked out a bit for his second yellow when it wasn't needed. His first yellow was a joke though, foul sure but no card.

Hopefully we can win the next game and lock down top spot better.
