It's almost as if Mr Lahey prowls the forum as various posters and just blows the shit winds across certain threads.
Clearly he's getting all this extra energy from somewhere.
I'm not saying Giggs is pagan. He's doing it to keep his body in shape and working for him. Just giving an opinion. Muslim and Christian players would have to be considered before such a decision is made. Just this year Cisse and Newcastle were at odds over the club's shirt sponsor.

Yeah but that's a different issue, yoga could simply just be considered a stretching exercise. You could in fact rename it the "Giggsy stretching routine" and circumvent all the druids descending upon our religious players.
It's true that, insanely enough, there are a lot of people who object to yoga on religious grounds. I believe there are Court cases ongoing in the US about teaching it in schools, and surprisingly they aren't allowed to do so in India, as the country is secular.

It does make you wonder, if he's still playing like this at the end of the season if he'll be asked to play another year. He probably couldn't resist; he's institutionalised as a footballer now.
I think a lot will depend on if we win anything this season. I still think it will be his last season but if we go without a trophy and he maintains this form and fitness, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him play on next season.

I am a hige Giggs fan want him to continue for as long as he performs like he did against Laverkusen. However there have been times this season when he has been utter garbage. I am just trying to point out that people mustn't forget those performances. In the end, its United that matters so if a player has a bad, it must not be forgotten.

I guess that's the problem with Giggs though, he's capable of being excellent to wasteful and it's hard to know when to play him. I think he's better suited to open games where we're given space, but hard to know when the opposition is gonna give that. Still the likes of clev and fellaini need to look at how he takes chances and is willing to try and make something happen.
He's only had three poor games, Liverpool, Shakhtar and Real Sociedad (all away fixtures). Compared to last season, where he was awful in the first half of the season, until the Swansea game, he's done well. He's had a good start to the season and hopefully he motivates the rest of our midfielders. Although Giggs is in good form, his start in important games this season shows just how poor our midfielders have been (with the exception of Carrick).

I've been guilty of this, but really one must cherish every moment Giggs is around. It's not that hard to imagine him playing for another year or two.
There have been better footballers at the club (not many but there has been technically better players). But I think he really has to go down as our greatest ever. In terms of what he has achieved, in the era that he has done so, it will never be replicated. It's so hard to describe as it's really a once in a lifetime thing, even more so.

I'm 26 and I have no memory of Manchester United without Ryan Giggs. He's just amazing. Should be an inspiration to everyone really. The fact that he's still able to put in 94 minute performances like he did on Wednesday night is incredible.

The term legend is used too freely these days. It should be said on the very rare occasion and only a selected group should have the honour of being considered a club legend. Giggs to me is in that group.

I think the number of people we designate as club legends is about right. But the way team fans then suggest that all of these are legends of the game, that is where the word becomes too overused. Giggs is a true legend of the game. Beckham, Ronaldo, Keane, Schmeichel and Scholes are also other true legends of the game from our club. Players like Rooney and Rio are club legends, but probably not legends of the game overall.
I don't think I'll ever see a crazier game than the '99 FA cup semi replay in my life. And to finish it off like this then...
