Manchester United vs. Everton

Yeah he was very good defensively, looks more positive going forward and combines well with Rafa as usual. He inevitably had some crosses blocked but he;ll have that in his game until time immemorial.

feck defending. Lets bring on Nani and Januzaj and attack the cnuts. Welbeck and Valencia are hard workers and triers but have little end product.

Been the better team and should've been atleast a goal up. Very unlucky not to get that goal.

Smalling and Fellaini our best players IMO. Kagawa has been good but he really hesitates from shooting.

Is Smalling on the pitch?

We have been pretty decent. Fellaini hasn't been 'good', but he isn't having a bad game either.

We seem to lack build up and understanding, it's as if we have bought a lot of these players in the summer..

Ah would you stahp pls. This is feckign nonsense. He's won pretty much everything he's contested. His passing has been positive, quick and tidy and his touch has been great. He's covered everything possible on the counter. If that doesn't qualify as even 'good' then there's no pleasing you.

Fellaini has probably been the best player on the pitch. You're in denial if you don't think he's been good today.

Much more than decent, he's been the best player on the pitch bar Lukaku.
I suppose. It's a scrappy game lacking in quality to be fair. He's broken up a few things. I can't say he's been amazing. Good is probably the right word to use.

Bring on Adnan. No idea why he's fallen off the face of the earth the last few weeks.

Welbeck is lost. Valencia was used alot, but did nothing. Only decent cross from that wing was Rafael to Giggs. How many times can a winger turn and pass the ball to a defender 20 yards back?

One tries to produce some crosses but ultimately can't beat the first/Second man and the other one tries absolutely nothing.

Agree. He has been 'great' though.

How's Rooney been great exactly? He's not done that much of note despite missing a tap in.

We've been okay. Our usual scrappy selves these days. Usually we'd be on the front foot pinning Everton back instead it's bits and pieces of good play on the counter.

 are you for real?

He plays up top as lone striker and has won almost everything in the air with us playing almost every attacking move through the air, and lobbing it up top to rooney who plays most of the game with his back to goal. And where the feck did he miss a tap in?

The fault lies with the rest of the team who have been terrible with build up play with these pointless triangle passes in the wings. The only attacking moves we succesfully created were from capitalizing on everton mistakes.

You have such a agenda when it comes analyzing rooney's game and the obvious obligatory sucking of van persie's dick even when he's not playing.

CB I assume as my beautiful ringlet haired boy is back.

Yeah he's the center back!

I missed the team news too btw, nobody posted the actual lineup in the thread I think. I only saw the moaning.

Our style of play is so rubbish, I wish we could just start playing some flowing football again as it looks so disjointed. It doesn't help that our wingers seem to produce nothing at all.

He seems to have gained a bit more speed and he's passing with purpose. In between the lines rather than in front of it. Impressive and encouraging if he can keep doing that.

I think Phil Neville's positive words will have given him a boost. Players need their ego tickling now and then.

It boggles my mind how welbeck is so big physically but is so weak on the ball and has the worst balance.

Rooney IMO has been the best player on the pitch. Especially since he gets little to no support in attack. He missed a tap in, but two players missed the ball in front of him, he couldn't see it.
Fellaini and lukaku have been clearly better.

I have a random question for ye all...

When we played Arsenal in the FA Cup a few years back, and Rafael and Fabio played on the wings in the first half (but not the 2nd), who was at right back?

We all like Welbeck because of who he is, but I just don't see him as good enough for us on the wing. Especially when we have players like Nani, Janujaz and even Young on the bench who are specialists out there.

I think Moyes is trying to get him up to speed after the injuries, but he really isn't offering us much out there.

Brown if I'm not mistaken. 7 nominal defenders.

wow how generous of you

This could be a chance for Adnan to shine

I genuinely think everyone's played well, Welbeck's probably been our weakest link, and then maybe Valencia or Kagawa (but they improved as the game went on). I can't complain about the others.

Lukaku player of the half for me. With the little service he's gotten he's still managed to cause havoc for us. We seemingly don't have an idea on how to stop him but who does?

Fellaini has been our best player so for by quite a distance. He's winning the vast majority the duels in the middle of the park and his passing has been really good. He's putting the kind of pressure on the opposition midfield that we rarely see from our mids.

Been a really good game so far. No team is holding back and both are going for it. Its been a really open game and I'd say we've been a slightly better team.

94% passing accuracy from 35 passes of Fellaini. Carrick-esque performance from him.
