He's spot on. It was pathetic defending, just watch it again. He barely even tried to stop Lukaku.

What? I mean what?

Seriously, watch it again. Or feck off adressing other posts before you've watched a whole football match. Seriously, did you start following football yesterday?

Spot on ? Completly omitting pathetic piece of defending done by Valencia there / winger for not tracking back the man he's meant to track back just to point out how 'shit' Fellaini is?

Not only is it sad piece of agenda but as well full of shit post. No, I didn't start watching football yesterday but what you just claimed is absolute rubbish.

Fellaini can maybe blamed for not putting Lukaku under enough pressure but that's not the same thing as saying he's at fault for the winning goal at all. It's madness to think so.

anyone who thinks the goal was Fellaini's fault is mental

Giggs made a terrible pass which lead to the freekick and then Valencia was asleep at the backpost - they are the ones to take responsibility

The goal is the fault of the right back, which is happening now quite often whenever Rafael is not playing.

A goal can be more then one players fault ya know!

Of course it was shit defending from Valencia, but it was also shit from Fellaini.

At this rate someone will soon blame one of Fellaini's farts to climate change...

Fellani is Moyes's patsy on Redcafe. It seems to me that some people are reticent to have a go at the captain of ship and instead are giving it both barrels to a guy who Moyes gave a massive pay rise to come to the club. Fellani was one of our better players against Everton and basically did what he does when playing that position. He was especially decent in the first half and made more tackles and interceptions that anyone else on the pitch. It is interesting how everyone is so keen to string up a player who comes here and does what he has been employed to do rather than having a go at the guy who chose him for the club.

You can get away with a few bad signings so long as the results come in. We have a decent run of fixtures and Moyes needs to get the ship on course or something will have to give.

I was thinking the same thing. There are a lot of valid reasons to criticise Fellaini or not rate him but some of the criticism he recieves goes beyond that. He's a very easy target and is being made a bit of a scapegoat for our (and Moyes') failings. I said earlier in the season that this thread would inevitably get bumped after every poor result, even if he wasn't really to blame.

Moyes doesn't trust him, which begs the fecking question: Why did he buy him?
Panic, he was clearly never the first choice target and can you imagine the uproar on here if he'd signed nobody.

Wasn't he meant to be having that wrist operation around December time?

I've heard this a lot. Don't quite get it. He was after Fellaini since early in the transfer window. Him & Baines were always the top priorities as far as I'm concerned. The only reason the deal was done on deadline day was Everton's end holding the deal up.

Why didn't we get him in for £23 million then?

Oh yeah, shit. All the release clause hoo-ha. Forgot about that. feck knows then! Maybe Moyes agreed not to activate the clause out of 'respect'?

 fecking unbelievable. Has his best game for us and know it all cnuts still wont give him time.

calling me your mums pet names wont change the fact that as a central midfielder, "big hair" has no positional sense, slow as feck, and does not posses the awareness and technical ability to be what we are used to calling "a Manchester Utd player".

No chance. That would be stupid. We've already qualified from the group. We're in a shit spot in the league playing a team that's above us in the table. Why on Earth would he be rested?

I don't know. Why wasn't Smalling on the bench? Either they've picked up minor injuries or they're rested. There's no reason to think they're in the dog house, is there?

Why would Fellaini be rested? Makes no sense. He's barely played. Smalling had played 8 games in a row, only one of them not the whole 90 minutes. We've got Evans and Vidic and Rafael who are all better and he went with Rio and Valencia as CB and RB cover on the bench, probably to give us more options up front.

If an injury isn't the reason for his absence then that's worrying. A position we're really short in, all this money spent on him and he's not even picked.

Was he injured today? I mean we didnt have Rooney or Kagawa. Why didnt Moyes play him in the #10 role for a change to see if he could make a difference? RVP was fully fit and Hernandez is out of form since he is in and out of the side. We could have started one of those two and played Fellaini behind the striker.

Really? What do you want him to do?

The fact that he didn't even make the bench tells a lot.

Pay attention to the game and analyze how he can get better with what's missing in our midfield. He shouldn't be playing fecking candy crush when he's such a mediocre player. That's not professional.
