Great team, like it.

Best line-up we can field atm, considering RvP and Carrick are out.

Will be interesting to see how Evra will cope with 3*90 min in the last six days including playing in that weather at Stoke 2,5 days ago.

Only fanboys and Moyes-haters can complain about that team. Certainly the logical choice given the injuries.

Happy with that lineup.

Please may Rooney drop deep to help CM like V Aston Villa.

Would have liked to have seen Young ahead of Valencia. Not his biggest fan, but thought his second half performance midweek merited an inclusion today.

On the one hand West Ham can be notorious game raisers, on the other they can be error-prone and dull as EastEnders offering next to no threat.

Who knows what we'll see. *shrugs*

Good enough lineup, no surprises for once which is nice to see. Pretty much as expected given the injuries.

CONFIRMED MUFC XI:

de Gea

Rafael
Smalling
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Cleverley
Jones
Januzaj

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: Johnstone, Buttner, Fletcher, Giggs, Young, Kagawa, Hernandez.

Excellent team, pleased that Rooney is fit enough to play. It's great to see Smalling/Evans getting a run at CB, even if it's only because Rio/Vidic are out injured. Think we will win, especially if Rooney links play as well as he did at Villa Park.

Best we could field. Happy that Jones and Clevz started together, worked well against Stoke, especially once Ando went off.

Wouldn't mind seeing Welbeck move wide with Rooney pushing up and Januzaj behind him. Wonder if that's a possibility.

So is Moyes settling on Smalling-Evans as the first choice CB partnership then, at least until after January?

Also i hope that we haven't rushed Rooney back, no need to do so after all.

Why is Kagawa not ahead of Welbeck?

I don't get why Kagawa still doesn't start. He's been fit enough to be on the bench for the previous as well as this game.

Because Welbeck scored two goals in the last game. He deserves to start today.

Well, Welbeck deserves a start after getting 2 goals in last league game to be fair. Kags has done nothing to prove he deserves a start lately, only showing flashes now and then. Based on form it is the correct decision.

Kagawa is only just back so I imagine he will be eased in over the Christmas fixtures. + with 2 goals in his last game Welbeck deserves a start to lead the line
and no Nani on the bench?
Hes injuried till the new year

not a fan of valencia's form of the last 2 years or so but at villa last week he was like a superman.
