Would have liked to have seen Hernandez start but apart from that looks solid enough

Don't really see how Kagawa could have started to be fair. Rooney is essential, Welbeck scored two against Villa, Valencia was MOTD against Villa and Januzaj didn't play vs. Stoke so he could play here.

After Welbeck's two goals against Villa it is understandable that Moyes is trying to play him into one of those Rooney-esque goal bursts, of course if nothing materialises then obviously Hernandez or Kagawa are ready to go.

 :)

We have games every 2-3 days for the next three weeks or so, Kagawa will play his fair share and Welbeck played well against Villa. Nothing to moan about with that line up given the injuries we have and the volume of games coming up.

Hopeful for another dose of Fletch from the bench

What alternative had he, if he needed Jones for midfield?

Well we could have seen Giggs or even Fletch take Jones' place in CM, or Vidic that of Smalling's in central defence, therefore it could be noteworthy if the team is beginning a consistent back four in the months ahead.

Really excited with that line up. I like the look of playing with all 3 of Jones, Smalling and Evans, it gives us a whole new dimension allowing Evans or Smalling to drive the ball forward whilst jones slots into defence to cover.

He´s better than Kagawa in the PL. Sell Kagawa cause he is such a talented player and should start every game only not in England

Have to say it might be for the best. Rooney is always going to be ahead of him and Adnan is our long term no10 when Rooney goes.

Yeah I'm a huge kagawa fan and he's a class player, he's just not suited to us and our lack of movement, and with Rooney being in front of him short term, januzaj long term. Best for both parties really, some just aren't suited to united.

so long as rooney is part of a middle 3 there. im still having sleepless nights thinking of jones and cleverley against newcastle, ive thought about it more and it is the worst midfield performance ive ever seen us put in. barnet would have beaten us that day

I would say get some proper midfielders into the team first, then see if he suits our play. A player like him needs a base behind him to work with. So often you see him in these nice attacking positions, yet our midfielders choose the safe option out wide instead.

100% possession so far
