I, for one, am hoping and praying that Suarez is still your main man in 25 years mate...![]()
A bit like Ryan Giggs you mean ? I'll be happy if he wins half of what that lad has won

25 years would make Suarez 51. So no, not quite like Giggs. Also, Suarez could win the league every season for the remainder of his career and still wouldn't have 50% of the honours Giggs has. Chew on that![]()
Never ever tempt fate like that again. They will poetically herald this as Destiny: the evil United Empire loses its legendary general -> the sleeping Giant wakes led by its shining knight in black armour and all shall bow down once more.
Led by the evil and sneaky Gollum, wee become a nothing team like Liverpool for the next twenty years...
I think they might be a year away.Right, balls out time for the resident scousers, no more tippy tapping around it. Are you going to win the league this year, yes or no?

Quite the opposite. I think, without major investment, this might be the closest they get for a while. Ourselves, City and Chelsea will get our shit together next season. All 3 with new managers in the Summer was bound to bring inconsistancy with it.
The way things are going with youse, you might have another new manager in the summer.![]()
If we do get top 4, we need serious investment. Two or three players of the highest quality along with 1 or 2 squad players. I would love for us to make a move for Lars Bender.
Not likely. I've always fancied us for a strong 2nd half of the season. We'll still get top 4.
I know we're not even half way through this one yet but I think next season could be an absolute humdinger.
Who's your top 4?
I reckon:
City
Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea
You have it wrong Arsenal won't finish 2nd Liverpool may displace Chelsea but on the other hand no. The top four wont look much different to last year but for a shift in places.Who's your top 4?

I've typed this out and deleted it 4 times now. In short, I dunno.
City will definitely be there and I think United will too (though admittedly there will be some bias in there). If Chelsea sign a top striker they will finish top 4, if not then I think they'll be in the scrap with yourselves and Arsenal. I'm still expecting Liverpool and Arsenal to fall away. It's already starting to show with Arsenal.

Don't get ahead of yourselves and never right off proven teams, especially champions, it's a daft ethic to believe in.
fecking scousers .... It's probably a plastic gun Carl. As you where.L
If I held a gun to your head, who do you pick?
I strongly disagree BFC very strongly, I would take a bet or a forum based forfeit that united finish above your so far over achievers against our so far under achievers.I have no issue writing off the Champions, especially after losing their heart. Liverpool will finish ahead of United.

Jokes aside your spot on there, I do think Chelsea will have to much eventually, the must likely outcome is Liverpool in some non plus battle with Spurs.OK, this may change depending on signings but:
City
United
Arsenal
Liverpool or Chelsea

They're gonna fecking do it, aren't they, cnuts
Do what ?They're gonna fecking do it, aren't they, cnuts
If they beat City I'm off to the bookies with at least a hundred quid.
They won't.
City will rinse them front to back and reality will strike, either way it will give united ground so feck um let em bash it out.they shouldn't but stranger things have happened... this would place would implode. Literally the first time I can remember for a very long time wanting City to actually win a game.
No, we cannot!
The flat track bully label is used a lot by your mates too. B9 in the last few pages.I don't think we'll win the league on the basis that a side that's finished 7th the previous season couldn't possibly bridge such a gap. A top 4 spot would be euphoric as far as Liverpool are concerned. Along with Everton, I think we both have the most exciting young managers in The Premiership. We have the edge insofar that our key player (Suarez) has just signed a new deal, whereas Everton's is a loan deal who will probably be gone at the end of the season - I find it amusing that Manchester United fans, after 2 comfortable victories against an average Villa side, & a very poor West Ham outfit, want to stick a 'flat-track bully' label on the side that's currently 8 points ahead of them, & sitting at the top of the table. Even if we lose our next 2 games & United win theirs, we'll still be 2 points clear having played the vast majority of our main competitors away from home. Never mind the question marks about Liverpool's capability of cutting it against the better sides, United still have a lot to prove if they're serious about a top 4 finish.
I don't know why everyone is so confident of a City win, the last time City beat Liverpool was January 2012. Both teams are in unbelievable form at the minute, both teams have dodgy defences, are scoring for fun and have the leagues two top forwards. I can't call it because I genuinely don't think there is much between the two teams at the minute, they have home advantage but are without Aguero but we have Suarez and are coming of the back of 4 victories with 17 goals and 5 different scorers. I'm looking forward to the game.
If it was at Anfield I'd fancy you to win. City are marvelous at home though.
You've not paid much attention to where the battle is usually won in these games and that's midfield. I suppose it will be a good yard stick seeing how a real quality midfield can nullify an attacking threat, snuffing it out.I don't know why everyone is so confident of a City win, the last time City beat Liverpool was January 2012. Free scoring is all well and good but City will require some of Brendan's earlier bus parking tactics in order to survive. They have to much IMO and will beat you across the middle and wide positions.
Hit and run is the order of the day here.
it's funny with Arsenal leading for so long, and City and Chelsea obviously being in the mixer, how no one for a minute gave any credence to Liverpool winning it.
That'd be a monumental disaster above any of the other 3 doing so.
However, let's hold off the panic until after their next 2 league games.
If they get 4-6 points from those 2 it might look a little more realistic,
