With that in mind...

DDG
Smalling Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Young Kagawa Welbeck
Chico
Bring Valencia and Adnan on later in the game and possibly a run out for Fletch too against good opposition.

Don't think we should move Welbeck wide now, he's in good form through the middle and with Rooney coming in and out of fitness and RVP still recovering we need to keep his form up there, plus Hernandez doesn't look great atm. Think one off Vaencia or Januzaj should play, likely Valencia and Januzaj probably isn;t used to playing so much so frequently and has been susceptible to letting his man go, though if he swapped flanks with Young that wouldn't be such an issue..

Would like to see Kagawa in the hole though, I missed the Norwich game live but watched a fair bit of it on MUTV recently and I thought he did alright and what was wrong could easily be explained by his recent lack of games and also the lack of games other players like Giggs and Hernnadez had as well.

I'd take no issue with what you're saying there. I'd rather see Welbeck up top with wingers on the wings too and a full back at RB, but I just think he may 'play it safe'.

True, though I think Valencia in for Hernandez with Valencia wide and Welbeck up top has more defensive stability. The concern there would be that it would put Young left again where he still doesn't look great despite his recent form. On the right he seems better able to put in a good cross. I suppose if he were to opt for Fletch next to Carrick then he might feel more comfortable playing Januzaj wide as Fletch/Carrick will give better cover to the full backs on their sides than say Clev would, though Fletcher might not be ready for this type of game yet.

If RVP and Rooney are both injured, I hope Moyes starts with Welbeck up front with Kagawa behind him. I say Kagawa, because he really can't be as poor as he has been for the rest of the season, maybe today....
Chicarito did nothing against Norwich to suggest he should start up front on his own. As they pointed out on MOTD, his link up play was poor - he really is a great poacher.
Would be happy with Young and Valencia on the wings, given the current injury list.
Come on Moyes....!

Is no RVP & Rooney confirmed? It's been so long, I'm starting to forget that RVP is even a United player.

Pessimistically, I think hopeless Spurs will give us the run around. Lennon will tear Evra a new arsehole, and they'll win 1-0. Probably a fecking Soldado penalty.

I'm just a ray of sunshine today.

I have a feeling Wayne is fine, and was just rested for Norwich to be careful with his injury

I'm pretty confident Rooney will play, the way Moyes worded it was tactical imo.

We need a win here - the other teams at the top have relatively easy fixtures, so can't afford to lose our recent momentum.

Think we need to go unbeaten the second half of the season to make top 4 IMO. And not too many draws in their either...

Rooney with the squad today.

Hernandez is also there. I can't seem to recognise the other player though.

Moyes said he was back in his post-match interview after our last win.
