Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

I believe that guy's name is Fabio. Understandable you can't recognise him - haven't seen him for a while.

The joke doesn't really work when his identical twin has been playing for us...

I am not surprised at all. The way Moyes worded it in the presser it was obvious.

We need a win here - the other teams at the top have relatively easy fixtures, so can't afford to lose our recent momentum.

Think we need to go unbeaten the second half of the season to make top 4 IMO. And not too many draws in their either...
We need to be unbeaten to make up three points? I think that's an exaggeration.

OFFICIAL MUFC XI:

de Gea

Smalling
Evans
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Cleverley
Januzaj

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Buttner, Fletcher, Young, Kagawa, Hernandez.

Good lineup. Great to see Rooney there, and Januzaj back in the starting lineup.

Thought we might have gone with Young on the left to help out Evra vs Lennon and Walker. Januzaj's going to have to do a lot of tracking back.

Eriksen on the left for them? 4-4-2, should be an open game. Really weak back line too.

How long is Rafael out for? Been a fecking crock this year, infuriating.

No real complaints. Still don't see how Buttner makes the bench over Fabio though.

Plus Smalling and Valencia should be solid defensively down the right but I can see how that's going to end up from an attacking sense.

Lamela is looking like such a bizarre signing right now.

Knew Rooney would start ,whether he's 100% is another question.

Would have played Young on the left and Januzaj on the right personally to lessen the inevitable impact Lennon is going to have

No reason for us not to be able to control the middle properly in this one. They've got two strikers who will want to play quite high up the pitch, with Rooney dropping in the hole, even Eriksen tucking in shouldn't make that much difference. Though Lennon and Waler could cause some trouble down their side as Januzaj has shown he can go to sleep defensively and Evra has traditionally struggled against Lennon. With them having two physical strikers, lennon will have a fair chance to pick someone out.

So today seems like the day where the top teams start pulling away from the likes of Newcastle, Southampton, Everton. We need a win to keep up with them at the top.

We need to win foremost to improve our bad home record and to improve our record against top half teams.

I see this as a real important test for us to get into the top four. Any news on the subs bench? The first eleven was to be expected with the amount of games played.
