fecking every time with Valencia. He's undroppable. Absolutely undroppable.

Delighted to see Giggs in the side. Wouldn't thought I'd be saying that again this season. He is still one of the best in that side.

Who takes his place?

Everyone moaning about Valencia is ignoring Nani and Young's injury. Really weird.

It's basically Valencia or Kagawa and Valencia is a better pick out wide.

Zaha's clearly not ready.

Januzaj can play on the right, and he can y'know, do something besides blast a football into people.

I cannot believe Anderson isn't in the line up
What's gone wrong with Moyes? He overuses half of the squad & freezes out the other half. The former get fatigued to the point of sustaining long term injuries & the former are out of form because of the lack of game time. Now, he will overuse Carrick till he snaps his hamstring. Giggs in the line-up is another waste of substitution. By half-time, we would be wishing he gets subbed.

This is just unacceptable!

suggesting Zaha starts in the semifinal of only trophy we in reality have a chance of winning is mental considering how few games he has played and that he is possibly going to be loaned.
But on the other hand making sure we cement our place in the top four in the league should be our main priority. I would really concerned if more players become unavailable for our league matches due to injuries.

Why didn't Moyes just send Zaha out on loan for the first half of the season? As it is has done sod all for us or any time which can't help the development of a previously active young talent.

Valencia aside, it's decent. Would have preferred Kagawa in there or even Zaha. Really pleased to see Rafa back.

Should be enough to beat Sunderland, the teams always going to look sub-standard without Rooney/RvP. Valencia will be fine with Rafael behind him.

Not much Moyes can do until we strengthen.

Hopefully we can bag the away win and simply not lose when they come back to OT.

We should be winning this tie over two legs. Hopefully the likes of Carrick, Vidic and Evra step up today. We need cool experienced heads to get us out of this horrible run.

The lack of pace through the middle of the team is a worry, but then it has been all season. I think it's the main reason we've had such a soft under-belly and are so vulnerable on the counter.

Get ready for the Sunderland press and work rate. They are going to come out the blocks like madmen.

Come on, boys.

Interested to see how much of difference Rafael will make to Valencia's game.

Draw. 1-1.

Sunderland isnt an easy place to go too but they hate anUza ( my key left of L doesnt work) so dont think United will lose.

I have a feeling we'll tear them a new one tonight, i feel bad for the the left fullback's thigh though.

Rafael and Carrick back should be enough to win this game.

Ground nowhere near full. When was the last time Sunderland reached a cup SF? Great fans up there y'know. :wenger:

Away support's fantastic yet again.
