Premier League
Old Trafford
28 January 2014
Kick off: 19:45

The return of Solskjær:drool:

I don't care about the lineup, as long as the follwing play: DDG, Smalling, Rafael, Januzaj, Kagawa, Mata.

We need our strikers back.. the backup isn't good enough to be leading the line. Saw that today. We can't go into a game leaving a third of the pitch uncontested for large parts of it.

What a terrible start for Solskjaer.

This is great timing if we sign Mata, otherwise it's awful.

Chances of having Rooney, RVP and Mata all available?

Rooney, Persie, Mata and Vidal to all come in.

Assuming no one is fit and no one has signed

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Rafael
CB: Smalling
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Jones
CM: Giggs
LM: Young

CF: Kagawa
CF: Hernandez

Subs: Lindegaard, Lingard Buttner, Fletcher, Cleverley, Januzaj, Welbeck

Jesus what a depressing XI :(

Is Carrick injured? I missed most of the Sunderland game.

Best realistic case scenario:
De Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Fletcher Jones
Mata Rooney Kagawa
Van Persie
6-0 scoreline, Mata with 4 assists, Rooney 2 goals, Van Persie 2 goals, mata and Kagawa with 1 each. Rest Januzaj, the poor kid is knackered and is in danger of being burnt out.

Worst case scenario:
De Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Valencia Fletcher Jones Young
Januzaj
Welbeck
The difference between the two teams is staggering yet both are very possible

I really hope Mata and Rooney are in/back for this one.

de Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Fletcher Jones
Valencia Mata Januzaj
Rooney

Just feckin' win ya shower of shites, except you Juan, you're alright.

Now this i would love to see.

Ole to revert to instinct and run on the pitch if we're down a goal heading into the final 10?

If we lose this one he has to be sacked. Hopefully Mata will give us a lift and get us over the winning line but he's only one man. We need either Rooney or RVP back to start winning games again.

You can't sack Mata because of one game.

Does Rafael deserve to play at the minute? He has been piss poor and looks like he has a chip on his shoulder.

BTW Don't be surprised if Mata doesnt start. I just hope fatman and robin are back
He'll play through the bad form, it's not like he's the worst player at the moment. If we had adequate back up then maybe you could say we can play somebody else but as it is, I'm happy to see Rafael always play. I feel like at the moment it's the rest of the team affecting him more then anything. It should change with our best players coming back.

First time in a long time that the Manchester United manager will only be the second most popular manager in the dugouts among the home crowd at Old Trafford.

do we really think VP will be back? He seems to be as much mentally as physically injured!

Cardiff's badge is f'ing pathetic, and also crap. Does their clown of an owner think that all Welsh people are now going to support Cardiff just because there's a bloody dragon on their badge? Strewth...

I'd like to see:

De Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Fletcher Cleverley
Januzaj Mata Kagawa
Rooney

This is provided Carrick and Van Persie are still out.

The Bolton match should be interesting, do we see Ole resting players for our match or signs of improvement and his ideas taking effect at Cardiff?

Unlike Sunderland they do have an end product if you provide them with enough opportunities, factor in at least one goal for them and then the possible unknown of our response.

^ Something Ole will look to target you'd think, pile the pressure on Cleverley-Fletcher and see how they hold up.
