Ah, sorry, didn't realise that. I shouldn't have swore either. I just get a little sick of seeing people say they want what feels like practically all of the squad replaced. I'll blame my tiredness, ha!

:)

Dont worry about the swearing - feck it!

In fairness man, most of the squad have been shite this season & dont seem to want to play for Moyes. It happens, but its not on either. Look at City & Chelsea - new managers, but top of the table & playin well. We're Champions by a landslide last season & now they're a bunch of wimps. If they wont play for Moyes, then he needs to bring in players that will - its that simple.

So what have we got?

  • Moyes sat )next to his agent.
  • Pep "Here today, gone tommorrow" comments. (When were these some saying last week but just being repeated today)
  • 4/11 to join United on Skybet. (Could easily be due to some wagers from people jumping the gun after seeing Moyes with his agent etc
One day of the window left and hes in Germany. I personally cant see this one happening tomorrow but certainly looks like there is some interest but they could throw a ton of money at him before then.

Probably because you essentially said Coleman would be better then Rafael there (which I strongly disagree with, although Coleman is very good). Rafael only recently has gone into a bit of bad form (its not wonder with everyone else being crap), and I reckon he'll snap out of it sooner rather then later, and it's more so to do with the rest of the defence being a shambles rather then him letting us down.

You should ask your other footie pals who's the better player this season & Coleman wins it hands down & thats not even considering he's scored 4 or 5 goals either. Easily the best right back in the Prem. Rafa's a great wee player & he'll improve. As u said, playin in a shite defence & pretty much the rest of the team being shite, hasnt helped either - my head would be done in!

I said in the summer on here, to get Baines / Shaw (or both) in & get rid of Evra & Buttner (if we got both) & i got insults left, right & center - look how thats panned out?! Evra just doesnt seem to give a shit about defending or tracking back. He does my head in!

Coleman's a young class act & i'd love him in to compete with Rafa for the RB slot. Rafa's injured quite a bit also...

Kroos would not leave a team who could win things still and go to a team in 7th. If this story has any truth in it, it will be a summer signing.

Well now that Jonsons injured ;) Not to derail the thread but Rafael is getting underrated a bit, dip in form yes, Coleman on fire yes, who's better long term ? Wouldn't rule Rafa out.

:D

I'm not ruling Rafa out, but the squad needs major surgery & Coleman's still only 25yrs old, so gettin him in would have us two great RB's to compete with each other. 2 for every position, as per the great team squads we've had...

I really wish we'd just act like the desperate cnuts were are and throw a ton of money at Bayern for this lad. Won't happen though!

I think this thread is the required surgery we need, certainly we need back up or starters at fullback too but I think our immediate attention should be on Kroos or similar.

Also... 2/9 to remain at Bayern.

This ain't happening, lads. Nobody else joining this late in the window. Moyes said himself we'll be waiting til summer.

Most likely not. Just shit we have to wait til the summer to bring players in. We waited til now & still only brought in one - albeit, a world class player. Doesnt paper over the cracks though, but maybe Mata can prove to be a shit-hot lift to the squad & they up their game substantially.

All the big game players will want Champs Lge football & it wont matter if we offer a shitload for a player - because City, PSG & Chelsea can offer more of a fee / wages & also Champs Lge football.

Its 4th or we're fecked. City look to be signing two of the players we were reportedly lookin at - Mangala & Fernando & its this window, so how good an attraction will they be in the summer?! Chelsea will be a shit hot attraction too..

There would be a lot more talk about this if there was time to get it done before the window closes.

That's a weird thing to get insulted for, as I feel like most on here would have loved to bring in Shaw and knew Evra was getting to his end, and everyone knows buttner is shite! I agree Coleman has been better this season, but overall and in the future, I think Rafael is better and more talented, although Coleman is better at scoring from fullback. He'd be great to have as back up, but you can hardly have 2 of the top 3 right backs in the league competing for the same spot!

Can I bet against this transfer? I'm certain he won't join us this winter.
Same. Is there a way to do this? Bet £50 that Kroos joins us before transfer window passes and you get a massive £68.00 back

Atrocious odds.

I can't lie, I was thinking earlier today that such is the level of our midfield, and the huge disparity in quality in comparison to the rest of our side for years, that it is almost of the level where it would be nice to hear Fergie fecking explain himself.

The other night we lined up with a centre half and a 40 year old winger in the middle. We were at times overrun. This is not uncommon, and has been happening for years, despite BLATANTLY being not good enough. The thing is, even considering targets we missed out on under Fergie in the latter years, none were midfielders. I'm rarely one of those guys who thinks only us can see issues, and Fergie not realising that pensioners, defenders or wingers were not suitable isn't an option I'm considering.

Therefore, what the feck was he thinking? Like, seriously. I need to hear it from him to find peace within myself! It's too inexplicable, and almost seems to be negligent on a scale that is as big as any other matter of this nature. It's almost as if it has taken David Moyes to come in to see that we need help there. I don't get it. I mean, everyone can see Chelsea need a striker. They tried to get Higuain and they will undoubtedly buy one by summer. What I am certain of, is that they will not allow the current bunch to perform like this fot the next 4 years and not even try to rectify it.

It is genuinely perplexing. Maybe the Hargreaves debacle put him off signing a midfielder for the rest of his career.

Ferige assembled a squad he knew he could succeed with. Your idea he should "fecking explain himself" is hysterical. It's interesting what fans view as tolerable these days. Signing a midfielder and somehow outspending sugar daddy club is clearly valued higher than success.

From those comments it seems Bayern want to keep him and they'll eventually come to an agreement.

There would be a lot more smoke about if we were going to sign him. If we do want him, there simply isn't enough time.

We certainly will not sign him today. Maybe in the summer but world cup transfer windows are a pain in the hole.

I am disappointed how posters and the usually reliable muppets like @iSparky are giving up so early on this transfer. It is deadline day ffs!! We got Mata in this window, we might as well get Messi. B.E.L.I.E.V.E.!! We need one last push...14.5 hours...that's all the club is asking from us.

Ah, I see you added a few bits for sensationalist effect. Well done.

Pep's quotes were more of a signal to Kroos that Bayern will not be pushed and are not willing to offer crazy money
"Toni Kroos ist wichtig für mich und für den Verein. Wenn der FC Bayern mit ihm verlängert, macht er das nicht nur für mich. Normalerweise bleiben Spieler länger als die Trainer beim Verein. Im Fußball ist es so: Heute bist du hier, morgen nicht. Wir wissen, wie wichtig Toni ist."

Translation: "Toni Kroos is important, for me and the club. If FC Bayern extends with him, it is not done only for me. Normally players stay at a club longer than the trainer. In football, it's such that today you are here, tomorrow you aren't. We know, how important Toni is."

I still think Bayern will give him what he want or that both parties will come to an agreement on a compromise. He has played pretty much all their games and it seems like Kroos will be an integral part of Pep's plans.

Such a buzz killer Mel.

No need to panic yet. They are just trying to squeeze in couple of additional millions from us. If they think they can even squeeze one cent additional from our Eddy, they have got another thing coming.

Sorry guys...

Kroos agent dismisses Manchester United links

Toni Kroos's agent has dismissed suggestions that the midfielder could be heading to Manchester United before the close of the January transfer window.

The Bayern Munich midfielder, whose contract expires in June 2015, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this month but Total Sport, the company who manages Kroos, have rubbished talk of a transfer.

"There's nothing in it at all, it is just rumours," a spokesperson told Goal.

"There's nothing to talk about."
