I for one, look forward to his return. He was injured and still hadn't settled when he arrived. He'll come good in time.
"Marouane Fellaini" fits that quite nicely. How are we yet to create a chant to the tune of Don't You Want Me Baby?

The competition for the other place in central midfield will be ridiculous: Carrick, Fletcher, Fellaini and possibly Jones on occasion.
Possibly Jones? As it stands he's arguably ahead of the other three. He's certainly been a much better midfielder than Fellaini this season.
He seems look better with back to goal than facing it.I've never watched Fellaini except when he's played against United, and for us, so what have I missed?
He absolutely tore us apart last season in our opening match, IIRC, looked like a fantastic player, but didn't play central midfield, more like behind the striker.
That's great, but surely we won't play him behind a striker. Seems to me his power and pace make him a good candidate for being a midfielder in a midfield 3, I'm not sure he has the passing skills to be in a midfield 2.
He also seems better with the ball in the air rather then on the ground. I remember somebody out a match vid of all his touches against us when he got MotM last season, and literally every single one was heading or knocking down a long ball. No clever passing, dribbling, not much tackling either. Just like 6 minutes of aerial duels. He seems look better with back to goal than facing it.
A fit Fellaini is a warrior
He is a good footballer. But many have short memories and have forgotten what he can actually do.Id rather him to be a good footballer.

He really isn't... He's not now, or will he ever be, a top class midfielder.
Hasn't shown his "pair" so far though.I look forward to his return to be honest. Look back at how he rifled in to support Januzaj in that Fulham away game (he was the only one, if memory serves): he's one of the few with a pair of bollocks in the current squad.

\He is our second best midfielder so I will be happy with his return. Not the best player, but he can fight in midfield and has presence, has ok passing and is great for attacking and defending set pieces.
I know.He hasn't played ten games for us yet!

I think he just felt a bit overawed. He needs to believe he's good enough. I'd love to see him and Kagawa both get on the scoresheet and some confidence quickly. That's what i was hoping when he joined ,but he seems to have left all that behind at Everton.
