Exactly..... That would require an element of succession planning. Not our strongest card it would seem.Probably no one.

I honestly dont get why Fergie didnt reach out to Pep when he decided he was going to retire in December. That is when Bayern signed him up.
If there was a choice to be made, I second this. Still a good age tooVan Gaal. Good coach and plays some nice football + he is a strong character..
1. Why do you think this, have you heard their teamtalks? Do you play for United/everton/cardiff/Molde?
And really, Do you think Moyes is honest in his press conferences, do you really think a man who has managed for 10+ years successfully in the Premier League can't analyse the game and understand how we lost or drew... he clearly can, but just puts a blanket message out to the media.
Cripes, man.
The key word is 'apparently'.My mate is a Barca fan and a massive Pep fan (understandably). He reckons if we had fone for Pep he would have jumped at the opportunity to become our manager as he really wanted the job apparently.
huh?
I am aware of his wins at Molde. As much as I respect it, the premiership and our job is on a different level. He'd be as much of a punt as Moyes was. We cant afford that. And again, why is his being a winner as a player being brought up? Its a plus, yes, but doesnt mean he'l make a great manager. I'm not even against his appointment, just let him fecking earn it ffs. Giggs, Neville, Ole, the lot of them. Let them earn the job.
Anything but a British
Who are the British god managers at the moment (with the exception of Rodgers). BigSam? Curbishley? Pulis? Sherwood?...and what the feck do you mean by this? Go on, explain yourself you kneejerk idiot. With the exception of one Irishman, we've always had British managers.
Or are you one of the: "OMFG, GET MOYEZ OUT SO WE CAN HAZ MOURINHO OR KLOPP THEN BUY MESSI AND NEYMAR LMFAO"
Why don't you go support your local team? Plastic.

Fact is, they are shit at the moment and anyone but a British isn't racism but is a very logical thing to ask. If they're any good (like they were in the past) then ok, but hiring an incompetent manager just to stick to our traditions is lunacity.
We can have any manager in the world apart from the ones at Chelsea, City and Bayern.
Klopp would be my top choice but Van Gaal, Simeone all have done a terrific job.

United way. We hire Moyes instead of Mourinho, we sign Young instead of Mata.Klopp is the obvious one like it was in the summer. When we look at who to sign to greatly improve the team we look at the best players in the world. Why should it have been any different with managers?

Bring back Queiroz or Rene to be Moyes' side kick.
Dortmund is his spiritual home and I can't see him wanting to leave there...he is guaranteed Champions League football every year...he is guaranteed many of the top up and coming German talents if Bayern can't find room for them and there is a hell of a lot more of those coming through than English talents. I'd say Klopp is happier at Dortmund than most managers are at the clubs they are at and I just can't see him wanting to leave any time soonKlopp is the obvious one like it was in the summer. You can, but in all likelihood most ones at current top clubs won't be leaving.
van Gaal!? So we spend a year trying to implement a new style of football, then get in a new totally contrasting manager who'll spend the next year doing the same thing. He's also 62, Holland manager, and I absolutely hate his face.I think he'll be here next season, but I'd try and get van Gaal in the summer if we don't get 4th, which is likely.
Flavour of the month. Dortmund struggling horrendously this year.Klopp.
Not really achieved anything. His 'achievements' this season don't count as they haven't actually won anything yet. Their squad is far too small to keep it going on all fronts. Something has to give. Also flavour of the month.Diego Simeone.
Jesus.Roberto Martinez
Achieved very little. Did very well with Molde, a totally insignificant club. Had a poor start at Cardiff. Not the revolutionary many expected/hoped.
Nearly left you out. BIELSA!? The man who was sacked from Bilbao!? Jesus of Nazareth.Dream impossible choices: Mourinho, Pep, Klopp
Possible choices A: Bielsa, Van Gaal, Simeone, Hiddink, Heycknes
Possible choices B: Martinez, Pochetino, Laudrup, Prandelli
Romantic choice: Ole

feck me sideways, lads, these are some God-awful suggestions.
Have you ever seen Bielsa teams Liam? Do you know why he got sacked in the first place?Nearly left you out. BIELSA!? The man who was sacked from Bilbao!? Jesus of Nazareth.
Laudrup? Plays the most boring football ever seen in the Premier League. Also realised that playing in two competitions is quite difficult. On the same number of points as Stoke and Norwich and below Aston Villa.
Yes, that was poor. 'Kin West Ham. He's also not getting credit for beating Bolton in the Cup. They played Norwich, who are shite, and were troubled in large parts. Zaha seemed to change the game for them. This is all moot anyway. Solksjaer with, what, three years of managerial experience in Norway comes to manage Manchester United?Poor start at Cardiff? Won two games in the FA Cup, lost to us and City, beat Norwich? The only poor part is the loss to West Ham, which was in his first league game with the club.

Laudrup plays the most boring football ever seen in EPL? Are you serious
Seriously Liam, I understand you, a young guy who tries desperately to act like a 50 years old fan and support the manager when everything is agains it. Don't act like an arse trying to be smart though.
Seriously, do you read what are you writing before you post it?van Gaal!? So we spend a year trying to implement a new style of football, then get in a new totally contrasting manager who'll spend the next year doing the same thing. He's also 62, Holland manager, and I absolutely hate his face.
