Anything less than a 3 goal win margin is unacceptable.

:eek::eek::lol:
Sorry but that is completely wrong. What did Januzaj have, one game where he looked slightly immature, only because he realized the rest were useless so he tried doing things on his own? It was still better then the shit Young has been putting out for most of the season. Young has 1 good game in 10 games pretty much.
If you mean the Sunderland game, yeah Januzaj was poor, but he still created both of our goals that day. The rest of the team kept passing the buck to him, in hope that he would create something.

Why in the world are people thinking this is a 4-4-2 system when the game has not even started? The reason that I have seen stated is formed from what is on the team sheet rather than Moyes history in charge of United.

Young and Mata are dynamic, inverted wingers capable of playing multiple roles in either the 4-2-2-2 or 4-2-3-1. And Rooney is capable of playing deeper in a midfielder if deploying a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 system. With the players on the pitch, it is possible for this system to be a very flexible, but Moyes has only sporadicaly shown such tactical acumen this season at United. So, there is doubt on that behalf and we can still shape in a static 4-4-2

Nevertheless, it is good lineup and hopefully we can put on a noteworthy performance.

I see it as a 4-2-3-1, personally:

De Gea

Rafael - Smalling - Vidic - Evra

Carrick - Fletcher

Mata - Rooney - Young

van Persie

There's no way that Mata is playing as a conventional winger today.

Lets hope so. The 3 behind RVP should be fluid.

I'm just glad we're going to see a game at home where the ball isn't pinged out to the right wing all the time.

Gary neville said that 4-4-2 is what united have always played and will continue to play.

I have a feeling Moyes is under the burden to carry that on, to play the "united" way.

It's fine if we have the players - but at the moment it's just so depressing watching the same, dreary, tumescent shit week in week out.
That's retarded. I know United have always played attacking football with exciting pacy wingers. That doesn't necessarily mean we have to play 4-4-2.

I expect a win, expect a draw, and a loss.

Who is on the bench?

I really hope Fulham don't pick a good set of animals in the dressing room or else we're in the shitter.

Fulham are putting out the youngsters. thats dangerous. They'll be motivated to prove something

Young was injured.

I think he's started virtually every game when fit.

No he hasn't. After that abortion of a game against City he was frozen out of the league games for about two months. I'm critical of Moyes, but he neglected Young, and rightly so, for a good while over the October and November months. He only got a sub appearance in the league and he was fully fit the whole time. He even played in a reserve match to keep fit.

We've got good players on the pitch. Despite any formation, that's the least we can hope for. Footballing ability has to make the difference for us. We've underperformed for too long without much signs of improvement. As long as we play with intensity, press constantly and aim to show greater variation in our play, we should finally get a result.

If we don't win this game though...

Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Giggs, Valencia, Kagawa, Januzaj, Hernandez.

Much obliged.

Rio huh? Moyes has learnt from last week then, in so far as he doesn't want to be putting Carrick at CB in the event of a problem. Shinji too, hm.

We've got Arsenal in a few days, I'd rather Young plays today and Adnan vs Arsenal. Adnan is long overdue a rest
See that's what we're all hoping for. Do you really think moyes will play our 4 best players in the sake game away to arsenal though? It would be a pretty ballsy lineup from fergie even, there's no chance with moyes.

Him being kept fresh for Arsenal is fair enough, but long overdue a rest? It's been a while since we've really seen him play!
Yeah I mean before that, and he's getting a good long rest now that others are back fit. He needs time to work on his physique and weak points, Moyes loves him - we'll see him again before long

On Thursday morning we are nine points off Arsenal.. feck off is it over..

Now finish this quickly and move on.. Where the feck is Nani BTW..

Mata will be a right winger in the same mould he was against Stoke in the first half.

It's traditional 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with Young, Mata on the wings and Carrick and Fletcher crossing from deep to the wings, just wait and see.

Yeah true enough, we'll see Valencia certainly since he's the best defensively and fastest on the break. Could see Janu on the left though since Matas not great coming back. He has a pretty big selection headache either way, trying to fit Rooney/RVP/Mata into 2 spots in tough away games

I can't believe Riise still gets a game for Fulham. Hopefully he scores another wonder goal against you.

Why this love in 4231 all the time? Will never get it, we play Fulham at home.

Tankovic is starting for Fulham? I liked the look of him in their reserves. Will need to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't have a good start

Fulham are absolutely shite. We should be knocking 3 or 4 past these with our firepower.

PLAY ALL THE GOOD PLAYERS! WHY CANT WE JUST PLAY ALL THE GOOD PLAYERS. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!
