This may get lost in the Moyes thread so I created an own thread for it. How can anyone, ANYONE who loves Manchester United Football Club support this giggling and laughing moron after this PR debacle?

This is the most aggravating and soul destroying thing I've seen someone from within the club do in 30 years of watching MUFC.

PTSD is back I see.

He's lost. He genuinely feels like it is a case of bad luck, so I can completely understand his reaction in the interview.

For everything Moyes is doing wrong, I don't doubt the effort he is putting in, how hard he is working and how seriously he is taking the job.

in keeping with the new rules, i'll keep my criticism to yet another diabolical thread from you. united are in an awful position now but this type of nonsense that gets spouted, and you make up a huge percentage of it, is just pathetic.

"in 30 years of watching" give us a break.

I wouldn't have faith in Moyes organizing an orgasm on a porn set but this just seems like looking for things to find wrong, he's bemused at a very odd game, yes we were shite again but he's hardly gonna admit it.

You think all of this is funny? Just like Dave?
I'll bet he chuckles himself to sleep every night. It just shows how little we've had to get upset about in the last 30 years if this tops your list. Get over yourself, buddy.

Name one media appearance this shambolic. Just one.

its not shambolic. thats the point. youre just exaggerating something thats really just a formality after games.

please, clearly say what you would like him to say in these interviews, and avoid some crap joke like "i quit".

do they mean that much to you? mourinho just said his aim is to keep away from 5th and jis team is a little horse.

if moyes said that what would you do?

I genuinely fail to understand what is so shambolic.

He is in out of his depth, he really is but I thought he was honest in that interview and I certainly don't think he is happy about a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham.

Then why is he laughing and smiling like a complete tosser?

Then why is he laughing and smiling like a complete tosser?

It was an odd game mate, we had 80+ crosses and 80% possession and somehow only came away with a point, It was probably a case of if he doesn't laugh he'll cry.

There are a lot of us that want him gone, but that is due to his lack of managerial ability, he isn't a c***

Then why is he laughing and smiling like a complete tosser?
He has nice teeth and endorses Colgate, that's why

Tbh you could have quoted the "players are mentally soft" part and perhaps some people would have agreed with you, but criticizing his body language etc doesn't really help

Yes, me and "Dave" have been on the phone all night chortling to ourselves.

You come across like a spoilt little brat and it's very tiresome.

We're in a bad place, I want Moyes out now too, it's clear he's not the right man for the job, shit happens.

At the end of the day, for me it's still a privalidge to support this club, No club is at the top forever and we aren't heading in the right direction which is fraustrating but I think we need to be a bit more balanced about it. We won't stick by him forever if results don't get better so just chill out and accept that it's not going to be out season. That's football, take the rough with the smooth. Being a United supporter has probably spoiled you. Personally, without being a "top-red" this is giving me a sense of perspective that as a man born about 6 weeks before Fergie took over, I haven't had up until now.

The bad part for me was when he called our players mentally soft. The laughing stuff doesn't worry me, I am laughing too with the situation we are. It is either that or going insane.

Are you comparing
"He could have been killed"
At least you came up with one. That wasn't shambolic that was just a little bit on the absurde side.

He readily admits that he doesn't know what more he can do to win. He also admits that he feels like we've been shit for the best part of six months. He doesn't think the team is getting their due breaks. Against the bottom side. At home.

This is one clueless man. It shows that he's under severe pressure, and I bet he hates doing interviews after games like this. At least he's putting on a brave face. I'd rather he smiled than cried.

I agree that it was an embarrassing interview, following a terrible performance and result. He is completely and utterly lost and needs to be put out of his misery as soon as possible.

why cant you answer my question?

Hell, how would I know what Moyes should have said. Who am I? His f'n speechwriter? But smiling like a moron and calling the payers soft was not the smartest thing to do.

no, but you surely have clear and passionate thoughts on how our manager should behave, your wimping out of the actual issues. and secondly, what about the mourinho thing. moyes says that, how do you react.

Mourinho's line was fecking fantastic. He also said it after completely embarrassing Manchester City at home. What was your point again?

And yes, if Moyes would have said the exact same thing it would have been fukcing stupid. Because he is to Mourinho what a village idiot ist to Albert Einstein.

I don't really think he even said much wrong in that interview. It was a mental game, we did the hard part and then undid it all in one fell swoop. Something interesting I took from it though, was when he criticised the players for not going on and getting a 3rd goal. Just proves that not everything they are doing is orchestrated purely by Moyes, he isn't telling them to sit back and invite pressure, the players are as much to blame as he is in my opinion.

SAF chose Moyes because he wanted as little change as possible. We always relied on width and crosses under SAF and we continue to do so under Moyes. You're genuinely telling me that Moyes is so incompetent that he's making these players play like complete donkeys? He's changed everything so fundamentally that the players can be excused for being so useless defensively and clueless offensively? Moyes was chosen because SAF wanted consistency, he didn't want to try and fix what wasn't broken. The difference is confidence and commitment which, admittedly, is ultimately within the managers remit but it's also understandable that we're lacking in that department given the loss of such a great mentor and leader.

He's starting to look like that alien hiding in the post office sorting machine in Men In Black 2.

Naive, convenient excuse. Moyes isn't telling them not to try and occasionally play through the middle, they just aren't showing enough guile or creativity to do so. Fulham offered us the crossing opportunities because they knew they had players capable of dealing with them and our players didn't try to change the record. The fact that we actually scored twice and went ahead is being forgotten because the team weren't capable of seeing out a few minutes of injury time.

the only thing wrong in this interview is that he says we crated lots a chances ..well maybe if hoofing the ball into the box is a chance

Unfortunately, this season has unearthed many of our fans as being complete Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.

I agree. The blind faithers are pretty annoying.

I really couldn't care less about what he says to the media.

It's the horrible, tumescent, unimaginative football that's the problem.

I'm glad David Moyes finds this whole situation, and the last 6 months, so amusing. Personally I find it pretty heart breaking.
