Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United

If Moyes plays one of or dare I say both Valencia and Young, I'll have no faith in him taking this team forward.

RVP, Rooney, Mata, Januzaj and Kagawa are all available to make up our front four, there's no reason why he should opt for Young/Valencia against a side like Palace.

This is going to be tough. Palace have won their last three home games with only one goal conceeded. I can see them mirroring Fulham's tactics. Defend ridiculously deep and try to hit us on the counter.

However I read a statistic that Palace are (apparently) the worst team in the league at defending crosses. If Moyes persists with the crossing game then it may pay off. Mata and Young will probably be stuck out on the wings again though. This would be an ideal time to push Fellaini back into the mix. His strength and aerial ability could be really useful today.

The pessimist in me says 1-1, but after a re-think i'm going to be positive and say Utd to win 1-3. Rooney x2 and Fellaini (if he plays) on the scoresheet.

Expecting a draw. I think I'd be more surprised at a United win than a Palace one.

Palace's home form is broadly similar to our own this season; they've taken 20 points at home, we've taken 21. Palace have won 5 of their last 7 there though, and only conceded 2 goals in their last 4 home games.

This will be a test of Moyes' tactics; Pulis will cede possession and we'll have to break them down. We should play our most skilful side.

I think Palace will look to ape Fulham's approach of defending deep, tight and narrow, allowing us all the space we like on the wings and hope for an afternoon limiting us to wild crosses from wide.

I can see it being a very scrappy game, which will suit Palace. Optimistic for a win however.

Southampton losing - we have to take advantage of that now and pull away from them. We win today, we're 6 points ahead of them!!!!

Jesus it Crystal fecking Palace.. Five isn't enough today, this is a statement game for Rooney spec..

I expect there to be a lot of complaints about Rio and Smalling (and probably Fellaini) but that front four

So Evans is still injured? Rafael still down.

Injuries wise this is season is just ugh. Nice front four though.

Front four is tasty as feck, i like the look of Fellaini in the mid. Bit worried about Vidic and Ferdinand as centre halfs but they did well against Arsenal so hopefully they'll be alright here.

Excellent front four. Shame Rafael isn't fit as he'd have worked well with those. Bit annoyed Smalling is right back after doing very well at CB in the past couple of games.
