I thought Fellaini had a good game against Palace, it was more in line what you expect to see from good central midfielders, he had a direct involvement and presence at both ends of the pitch on several occasions, it has been a while since I have seen that in our team, he is such an unusual player and I thought it was interesting to see him pushing up so high against palace, you normally associate through balls and silky touches with attacking midfield players but I think he relies more on his excellent reading of the play, timing and his physical presence, he seemed more fluid and comfortable about the pitch than he did earlier in the season, perhaps those back and wrist injuries were having a bigger effect on him than we thought. Got a goal for Belgium midweek too, looking forward to seeing how he does tomorrow.

Of all our cms he's the one with the most potential to improve, even if it's just by finding his Everton form. Hopefully we see plenty of him for the rest of the season.

Always said the break (injury) would do him good. The limelight and pressure was off him..he could take a few steps back and have a good think about being a united player. Also the Mata signing has also taken pressure off him. I reckon he's really going to prove a good buy next season..

According to the Manchester Evening News, Fellaini suffered a back spasm while on international duty.

A frame as large as Fellaini's will not age well.

Fukkin unbelievable we bought him for nearly 30m. But hopefully he'll have a good game today. Away v West Brom is a great opportunity to get his season off the blocks.

Apart from the stupid fouls he's been rather good.
The stupid fouls get in the way of an average midfield performance. There must be countless players around who could pass the ball to that standard and not throw themselves into challenges that you can see will end up in a free kick a mile away.

That's what I meant by good, these are our standards nowadays so better accept them.

He looks more mobile today than previously.

He's been good. Wouldn't call it a "great" performance.

He has however been about 5 times better than Carrick IMO.

This. In reality, neither would get into the first XI at Europe's elite eg Bayern.

He's been excellent in the second half. He showed he can actually play football (contrary to what many here think) with that bit of interplay with Mata on the right and his part in the build-up to the 3rd goal. Again an improved performance after the Palace game. The signs are encouraging.

Another fine performance, done everything you'd want him to do, besides popping a few past Foster. Also notably faster and harder working than he was pre-extended leave. Was certainly playing through injury in his first spell for us.

Played well. His presence was huge today, winning everything in the air and not letting much by him. He never seemed to lose the physical battle and when he had the ball, he looked impressive too. Got forward, put in a couple of good crosses and played some incisive forward passes. I really want him to net a couple of goals to get his confidence up.

Good performance today. Offered us some drive from midfield and wasn't afraid to pass it short rather than just diagonals to the wings.

Another really good performance, soon you lot will realize that he's actually good enough for this club!
