Phew, was scared as feck whole day we'd see some abomination formation today but thankfully we're sound on paper. Just hope we can show what we're worth up front and smash those cnuts.

Is Fletch injured again? I think i i'd rather have him as an option from the bench than Cleverley.

Rodgers going with a midfield three, big game for Carrick and Fellaini too. Rooney needs to drop deep to help out, none of this staying up front within three yards of RvP please.

Agreed, we could get overrun in there otherwise.

If Moyes can't motivate his players today to play Liverpool, especially after what Rodgers and Gerrard said during the week, then he may give up!

Come on Moyes!!! This is your chance! Grab it son!

I feel nervous but having a pint. I hope we play some good football with that 11.

Great line up iv got no problem with that starting 11 it's arguably our best.

I hope Moyes has it right, although I felt Young and Valencia lacked the attacking threat for a game like this, I also thought Januzaj lacked the defensive qualities.

I really did think Welbeck on the left was nailed on because it seemed so obvious to me.

I really do hope Moyes has got it right and isn't learning on the job going from one extreme to another. His thinking might be that Carrick and Fellaini can deal with Liverpool's attack, and Rooney could drop in to help therefore allowing such a powerful attacking threat down the flank.

I've seen the line ups and now can't wait to see how Moyes instructs the players to play.

Great line up. Hope the tactics however are a bit up to date, otherwise we're up for another struggle.

Two away wins today could really very much end the race for the top four.

It would also mean that Liverpool probably become second favourites.

That's better  Surprised he didn't go for Welbeck instead of Januzaj but that's a very positive team.

He would have been clueless if he started Welbeck over Januzaj in this match. With the space Liverpool will give us, we need the players with creativity and passing ability. I'm delighted with that team. Maybe I would have opted for Smalling, but he clearly trust Vidic and I hope his experience will help us.

If we score first, I expect us to win this. If they score first, they'll shut up shop like in the away match at the start of the season.

I've this being feeling inside that we're going to come out and show the scousers that we're not to be taken lightly. We're going to bounce back. 2-1.

I am however still euphoric from Ireland's win yesterday, so I'm probably the most positive I've been in months.

Has it been done as a pairing before? It sounds solid to me but vidic isn't as good this season, means we'll have to go for it at least.

Can't remember them playing together that much at all. Vidic even at his best struggled against pacey players, and Suarez could be too clever for Jones. Let's hope I am wrong, but I can't see us not conceeding goal.

Really? Welbeck has genuine pace. Did you not watch the game a couple of seasons ago at OT where he pressed the hell out of their backline and stopped them playing out from the back as they love to?

"The Vincent Kompany of United". Oh, feck the feck off.

About Vida? Who said this?

I never start the telly till a couple of minutes before the game just to avoid the insane amount of nonsense that gets spouted by these so called experts.

Good job Redknapp circled the 29 there, I didn't know where to look in that table.

Do ex United players die or leave the planet when they retire or something??

Souness, Redknapp and Carragher in the studio....Kenny will probably pop in for a chat at half time

Merson obviously. The braindead feckwit should not be on for a day like this.

I think we'll either win or lose this one, although there's also a small chance we could draw too.

But seriously are we involved in this game? Other than vidic's interview I wouldn't even know.
