Well we've given ourselves a fighting chance with that line-up, good to see. It'll still be difficult again a very confident Liverpool side though.

Is Jamie implying RVP made his comment about Juan Mata, after a Champions League in which Mata couldn't play? I think he might on to something.

Nice to see De Gea starting up front today. Can't help but feel Mata in goal is a mistake though.

Wish they would come on and go straight to the game. All this tactics bollocks.

Judging by all the outcry over the pre match talk, glad i make it a point never to watch it. The cnuts have waited so long for us to be in trouble that this is like handing over Scarlett to a fecking virgin.

Rooney will play deeper like he did against Arsenal, he will be key and he loves that role anyway (being everywhere against the big teams and fighting to win the ball back). This should free up RVP and now with Mata and Januzaj either side it is possible they will create chances for Robin.

Hope Moyes watched the Jamie's then. Look forward to seeing Mata man mark Charlie Adam next season.

I don't even care if it gets Moyes sacked, I want a win big enough they choke on their new-found mortality. I hope we skull feck them until they're so far gone larvae begin to hatch from their corpses and their fetid bodies have to be unraveled from the asphyxiwank Satanic poses we left them in.

From Red And White Kop, he seems quite up for the game.

I'm a bit nervous about Vidic starting. Would've opted for Smalling due to Vidic's struggles vs quick football along the ground.

I imagine it's the same with Skrtel vs RvP/Rooney/Mata though.

Sky really do have a love in with Liverpool, I find it funny myself.

yes. he will be in front of Fellani and Carrick.. think Fellani may well be a key player for us.

Just woke up, so excited for the game now that I saw that lineup. Moyesy finally going for it in a big game, great to see. Maybe there is some hope for him yet. Sucks that smalling picked up an injury, he's been in great form. Vidic needs to put in a performance like in the old days, sterling Suarez and Sturridge will be very hard to contain. Should be a great game.

Shame that there is no Smalling. Would have also liked to see Welbeck for Adnan today, but still a strong side. I just think that without Smalling, against Liverpool's speed, we have a slow spine with Vidic/Fellainj and Carrick.

We have enough in the team though.

I think we'll either win or lose this one, although there's also a small chance we could draw too.

Really putting your neck on the line there mate.

Anyway who are the nominees of scapegoats if we lose this match. I'm going for Rooney and Fellaini.
