Would have preferred Young on the right, no complaints about Giggswe need to go all out and hes capable of making things happen.

Would love Januzaj on at half time in a 433, Kagawa behind the 3 with Giggs and Carrick.

Paddy Crerand was just interviewed on Swedish television. I'll sum it up: Everyone at club supports Moyes. We've got to give him time. Sir Alex isn't happy with how the season has turned out but will have faith. What we need is a world class midfielder.

"These days"?

What bollocks. Ferguson regularly put out mediocre lineups too.

It's just a poor squad compared to the rest at the moment. It needs a huge overhaul.

Yep. The loss of all our key players, coupled with the £70m we've spent since last year, has had a disastrous impact.

:wenger:From the Guardian match tracker

David Moyes speaks! “We have to try to control the game before we attempt to score a goal ... We’re capable of scoring twice in the last ten minutes if we have to, but of course we’d like to score one before that ... We’re going to try to score an early goal.”

That can't be true.

Oh don't play one of these heroic montages with sad piano music, I'm going to cry. No CL football next season. :(

I dont care what you guys think, I want as many English clubs in the quarters as possible. Come on United!

Sky have practically absolved Moyes of any blame already. If we go through, let's hope it's the boys that get the headlines and not the manager.

Let's make sure we're all on message eh Paddy. Has United hired Alastair Campbell to do the PR these days?

I've got a really weird feeling about this match. Feels like something is going to happen. I don't think it's going to be us going through though. More something like the fans finally turning on Moyes (if we are really awful) or even Moyes getting the boot if things go really bad. It feels so weird, i can't quite explain why i feel like it.

Nice little montage of Champions League nights at Old Trafford - really made it seem like the end of an era.

That's exactly what I imagined the club were thinking tbh. Moyes has got leeway as he didn't get the midfielder we needed.

Dont agree but doesn't surprise me

All those Sky montages have got me thinking we can pull this off. Bastards.

Prediction. We will win today but our inability to keep a clean sheet will cost us the tie. Jones gungho style might get him injured and we end up with Carrick in defense and Fellaini in midfield. Moyes will say we were fantastic but unlucky. The media and Fergie and Neville will say he needs more time. The banner will stay. Van Gaal will end up at Spurs. United will improve next season and finish 6th. Rooney will sign a new 500k/week contract. Giggs will get a new 1 year contract. Pogba will break Puskas record and score 5 goals in the 2015 Champions League final.

Actually not looking forward to this, bizarre feeling, one iv'e never had on a champions league night, we're short in midfield and not only a man short but one's a 40 year old. Wellbeck could be our only hope tonight, unless Rooneys going to play deep, can see us getting overun and RVP another service free night.

Come on feel the Moyes.

Paddy is determined to keep that job on MUTV until death sacks him.

It's a football match, why is the line up not relevant?

If people just want to stand in an empty room and be entertained with themselves going "Whey-hey" then fine but if you're a football fan how is who your team plays not of interest?
Because it hasn't been all year...no matter what team we put out.
