Definitely dropped against Bayern, Young and Valencia will both start.

Moyes OUT!!!

Reckon we would have been in with a shot of champions league football had he been used as a key player from the start of the season. Moyes has made it a lot harder on himself then it could have been.

Agreed. We would definitely have a few more points had Kagawa been involved from the beginning.

Growing in confidence that he'll stay with us and be hugely important next season. It's starting to feel like a new signing.

I wouldn't stay if I was him if Moyes isn't sacked, and this from a lifetime United fan.

Moyes is ruining his career.

Since Van Persie's injury he's been heavily featured and has performed. You can tell that Moyes is starting to trust him more.

I guess a lot hinges on Van Persies future.

The way Fergie did last season by not playing him much either? Ridiculous statement.

Should he leave if he doesn't play? Yes. Your second statement? Ridiculous.

Sir Alex played him in more games last season and that despite him being out for 2-3 months.

Van Persie was injured for much of the 1st half of the season and he hardly got a look in. Moyes drops him inexplicably after each good performance.

He'll likely end the season having played more than last year. If he starts most of the last third of the season or so then he might be keen to stay.

If we throw the bank at Klopp he'd definitely stay.

One of my gripes with Moyes's United is how slow we are going forward. If we can get forward quickly like we usually do,we just might get to see Kagawa fully realize his potential.

The first game in a while where i've thought he's genuinely lived up to his reputation.

He's been quick, incisive, smart and most importantly of all perhaps, decisive.

If we can get the best out of him (and i've always thought he deserves to be in our best 'on paper' XI) we've got some player on our hands.

Will say it again - we are far better with him in the team. Simply has to start...not just against Bayern but in every game till end of the season.

Our most passes, 3 key passes leading directly to shots and a couple of good efforts of crosses into good areas that teammates just werent able to get to. Exactly what you want to see from the player and more than earned a spot vs Bayern

Was good today. Credit to him and Moyes for improving his ability to deal with the physical side of the game.

Oh lordie, get the hell out of here before the Kagawa lovers see that.

Brilliant today. Slotted back into central midfield effortlessly later on as well, and played it better then most of our actual center mids do.

It's not even a case of you can see a manager not playing him for somebody else. He's that good that he simply has to play, he's easily our best outfield player after mata, rvp and Rooney but they are all out for the bayern game, so he simple has to play.

Don't get your hopes up. It'll just be painful come Wed 1845...

When he's good, he's good. Great match, I loved how much he wanted the ball and how he wanted to dictate things. You could see his disappointment when players wouldn't pass it to him, he's gained a lot confidence (maybe Moyes reconsidered and give a motivating speech ?).

Do we think, perhaps, we could see him in the CM position a bit more often? Having him there instead of Fellaini (DISCLAIMER: i am not a Fellaini hater) made a world of difference. Then again, being 3-0 up against a Newcastle side that couldn't give a shit also made a world of difference too i guess.

I would be really really pissed of if Kagawa left in the summer and player like Young and Valencia remained. He is an excellent player in the right setup like today showed. I hope this game opened Moyes eyes.

Really isn't that complicated is it, next to a fluid player like Mata he excels. People can criticise Moyes for not playing him but he's poor next to a player like Rooney and since Mata has come in he's played more.

Would be delighted for him when he gets his move away. He deserves better.

Spit phlegm in Moyes' face after you have cleared out your locker Shinji!

He wasn't poor next to Rooney last season. The difference is that we actually played well under Fergie. We had much more movement and willingness to attack. Kagawa doesn't need players like Mata to excel, as long as players dare to attack and move.

But it obviously doesn't hurt to have Mata next to him. Even with Moyes' "tactics", they're gonna comliment each other so well that it affects the rest of the team.

Said before we can put him there next to a defensive mid like Fletcher for plenty of the smaller games if we want to play Rooney, RVP and Mata. He's great at keeping possession and playing it safe. Could also work brilliantly on the left side center mid of a 4-1-2-1-2, Mata in the hole with the strikers up top.

For me, Kagawa represents which direction Moyes wants to go. If Kagawa is sold in the summer I'd take that as an indication that Moyes doesn't fancy a more fluent high level football and will persevere with more predictable formations and it'll benefit far fewer of our players.

But I'm quietly confident that the link up play between Kagawa and Mata and one of Januzaj/Nani/Tony is too obviously good for it to be ignored.

Now THAT was a good performance from him. Self-confident Kagawa is a brilliant player and can fit at United.

Was involved in basically everything good we did today. We would be insane to sell him.

Mata said in his post match interview that he loved playing with Kagawa and the passing/movement between the two was very good.

He's staying.. Moyes will see the light...
