I thought they didn't have too much dubious penalties this season, but after watching this, almost half of them are questionable.
As for those "extra" they should have, Skrtel alone should have at least 5 against him also.
Key points bolded think and if. (previous post deleted as I hit post too soon)
I have also bolded some other key points, United 2014 are not by any stretch Liverpool of 09, United are a superpower financially and will speculate to accumulate, we've spent a fair bit of time under Fergusons latter years not competing financially with the big boys as we've simply not needed too. This terrible season will see that addressed, it's been all but told it will happen, we will also be strengthening from a position of strength squad wise (despite claims to the contrary), Arsenal,Chelsea and City will also be doing the same, Liverpool will be strengthening under financial constraints with the smallest squad of the lot and Champions league football. As for the Champions league football, you will be in the pot unseeded with the heavyweights and future signings might still be stand offish for fear of a relatively poor CL run, if that happens then I think you could find yourselves in a worse position financially, squad strengthening outlay and no major input from CL football could see that proposed stadium shelved for another number of years(that is the huge factor holding you back).
Your key to all however could be David feckin Moyes.
All just thoughts, If's and buts mind ya.

Of that list of pens only 5 actually impacted on the result and only two of those 5 were disputable:
Three points gained there. The rest were pefectly fine.
- Newcastle - equalised but defo a pen (+1pts)
- Villa - equalised and soft so debatable (+1pts)
- Fulham - winner but defo a pen (+2pts)
- United - first two were vital but both defo a pen. The third soft one had no impact on result (+3pts)
- West Ham - winner but debatable (+2 pts)
The second half of the video shows ones Liverpool should have had - which is important if you're going to pick apart the ones Liverpool did get:
At least three points lost there - plus it would have deprived Chelsea and City of 3 vital points.
- Southampton - would have taken the lead in a match Liverpool lost (-1/3 pts)
- City away - would have equalised (-1 pts)
- Chelsea away - would have equalised (-1 pts)
Overall, the pens and non-pens have pretty much evened themselves out, no?

The early posts in the RAWK thread just show the job Rodgers has done. Four or five signings and a couple of loan signings coming back and I think we could go even further.
Anyone watch a lot of the championship? I'd like to know how Ibe, Wisdom and Robinson are doing. I have high hopes of Ibe and Robinson, but Robinson seems to have dropped off and Wisdom has stepped up.
Yeah, except that non-existing penalty when losing by one isn't really worth one point when it helped you to win the game, as happened against Stoke and West Ham, plus the draw agai6nst Villa.
And as for those you should have, why don't you count those that should have go against you also. I am sure if you count just those Skrtel conceeded, you would be worse by 6 points alone.
Isn't this the absurdness of such an analysis? talk of Liverpool's undeserved penalties is just a way to deminish their achievements. I only put my points together to show that these things work both ways so it's really a moot point in the first place.
The table rightly has Liverpool top because they have been the best team over 33 games. We'll see about 38 games, I guess.
Of course they even themselves out, the decisions always have. What your seeing now is how much bullshit Liverpool fans spouted about us for all those years we were on top when we were clearly the best team in the League every year we won with and when we didn't win it it was won by the best team that year too. We obviously still need video evidence simply because even if it does even out it's still not right that these wrong decisions happen even when they don't affect the results of the game. This rings true especially when teams are knocked out of cups due to bad decisions, this is the only decisions that I feel don't even out because it's knock out.
If Liverpool win the League this year they deserve it, if they don't they don't deserve it simple as.
I am from Blackpool myself, and I can tell you he's actually probably their only best defender at the minute in what is terrible state of a potential relegated side. They've got no full back options at all, the fans fans rate enough to have him as their MOTM nearly every game. I think he's currently the player of the season voted amongst fans in the local paper, but I think this is all votes that were accumulated earlier in the season when they were playing well.
His discipline and temperament on the pitch hasn't been good though. He made some rash decisions and an immature altercation in one match with DJ Campbell lead to a three game ban during a period when the club badly needed its best players. They've continued in this downward spiral for months, and I haven't heard much of his performances since.
As for Ibe, I wish they had signed him to fill the creative void Tom Ince had left. I knew he would make an impact and take advantage on a poor Blackpool side on his debut which he did. He should of been loaned out earlier in the season, he looks a good prospect.
Funny as the best thing to happen to Forlan was to leave Old Trafford.Interview with Diego Forlan about compatriot Luis Suarez:
"We spoke a few days ago," the 34-year-old [Diego Forlan] told Brazilian sports paper Lance!. '"He [Luis Suarez] asked me if I think he should stay at Liverpool.
"All I told him was to think about going to Manchester United. I know he loves Liverpool, the fans and the city, but I think the best thing for his career would be to move to Old Trafford."

Might not be ready to play us or if he is, he might not be fully fit.![]()
Just me who feels physically sick at seeing Gerrard and Suarez both win the Player of the month? Such a nauseating gesture from the Premier League, they would only do it to Liverpool.
It's happened before.Just me who feels physically sick at seeing Gerrard and Suarez both win the Player of the month? Such a nauseating gesture from the Premier League, they would only do it to Liverpool.
It's done on a voting system, & both players received the same number of votes. I believe it's not the first time it's happened.
Brendan Rodgers receives the Manager of The Month award. So that's our title challenge well & truly scuppered then![]()
Fair enough, just my nerves getting to me before the game against them on Sunday getting to melast thing we needed is a triple confidence boost for their three most important figures
Never knew it happened before either, presumed it was just the Premier League playing up to Liverpool fans

That can't be right surely? If we lost at Anfield and Goodison, win all our other games, we just need Liverpool to draw a single match after Sunday and we'll still win the league

If we lost at Anfield and Goodison, win all our other games, we just need Liverpool to draw a single match after Sunday and we'll still win the league. Even if we lose we're not out of the race and I don't think we will lose.
Also, how many times when we played at Anfield was your team vastly better? It's only being in recent years our team has overtaken yours so the record is a bit of an irrelevancy.
That can't be right surely?
By my reckoning we'd have 87 points & City would have 85.
If history were anything to go, City are out of the title race
Yep my mistake
I meant if we drew at Anfield, we could afford another loss, presumable against Everton, and still win the league.
Out of interest to any of the Liverpool or City fans on here, is there a rivalry between the two? The United-Liverpool rivalry is often talked about as being a residue of the Liverpool / Manchester rivalry extending back to the Industrial Revolution, but is there the same with City?
Assuming you maintain superior GD....

No, not really.
