a few things are worth mentioning in liverpools title success. deserving winners yes, but:
-the most important role ever played by a single player in a title race. sturridge has done well but without suarez liverpol are 5th
- are they the weakest team to ever win a premier league? i say yes. a very good team, but individually these many of players should never be near a PL trophy
- like all title winners theyve had luck, they have had a huge amount this year and in recent months especially
-and most significant of all. NEVER again will all top 3 teams be undergoing such significant transition with all 3 under new management. its made it more straightforward for them without doubt
-not being in europe cant be underestimated
As I said, it doesn't make it easier for them. Moyes has tricked us into believing that having a new manager is a handicap, it isn't. Chelsea and City are better off this season with Mourinho and Pellegrini than they were last year with Di Matte/Benitez and Mancini.
