Pulling him down in the process of shooting is no longer denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Danny's finishing isn't that bad.

If anything, this game will tell Giggs that Cleverly is horrible and shouldn't be anywhere near first team

Whoever is the new manager needs to improve our off the ball movement by atleast 100%.

Otherwise these teams who put 10 men behind the ball will always be difficult for us to play against.

He can improve it, but players either have the know-how, or they don't.
Throw Toure and Silva in to our team, and they'd know where to stand and where to move to. They wouldn't look so clueless off the ball (even under Moyes)

The likes of Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley and Rooney often don't even look like they have a clue where they should move to to create space.
Give them Guardiola, and it still wont come naturally to them.
New players needed for this reason.

I'm not quite sure that had the defender not interfered with Welbeck that the outcome would have changed.

Very odd to not book the player. By the book he could have given a red card.

Were ahead but it's all a bit underwhelming. The game is crying out for Mata, there is no guile or creativity in the final third. Just as boring as under Moyes in my opinion.

Jones is a fecking awful full-back.

I can't say that I'm not a bit disappointed in Giggs. I wanted him to be more adventurous and start James Wilson and Januzaj. :(

Well, even with the holy trinity of giggs, butt and scholes, i think we can see a bit of work needs to be done this summer...
Don't be too critical! One weeks training under Giggs v 8 months under Moyes. Be patient.

Take off Rooney, Danny, Jones

Bring on Nani, Chicharito and Mata
