Joke!!!!! :mad::mad::mad:

Our home record is appalling!!

I'd love to know just how many goals we've scored at home this season. It's pathetic, embarrassing and I'm feeling enraged.

Even if we aren't worldbeaters we should be able to deliver a better string of home results than what we have this season.

Just...abject! Trying so hard not to swear in this but its very difficult.

Agree with AC. Couldn't care less if half these lot had their jacksie's turfed out of the club.

Very poor and a load of classic issues in there. A reliance on width when delivery has been consistently poor (Young put in a couple of good balls earlier in the match tbf), but either way over the past 2 seasons or so, delivery from wide has been more often poor than it has been good. Yet most times we end up making the changes we did today adding strikers for wide players but still focusing on crosses in to the box, this time now from the fullbacks who are no better at crossing than the wingers unsurprisingly.

It's fine for us to have a style (i.e. fast and wide) but you need the players to do it and our have been underperforming for a long time. Carrick/Fletch were poor as well but as usual what are the options centrally for them? When we set up like this no one runs inside from wide, not into the box, so no one is creating space for others or for the midfielders/mata to make a pass.

I think we should have kept on Mata and looked to bring Januzaj to link up with him, RVP could have as well. Its not a definite but we've struggled so much this seasons when teams are organised like this because our wide play isn't good enough atm and it's not like we have may physical presences to create issues for teams.

I'm starting to think Giggs has managed this team all season, it's uncanny

I actually saw him morph into Moyes towards the end standing on the touchline, doing sod all except have a glazed look in his eyes.I could do that

Feck sake, when will it sink in with some, it is both !

We were crap under Fergie aswell, we just won games and didn't care. We have been crap under Moyes, but he doesn't know how to turn it around and get decent results with these players, we started carring. What we need is a coach that sees how crap some of these players are, axes them, brings in good replacements, changes the system and starts to get us play football again. This manager can at this point in time only be Louis Van Gaal and not Ryan Giggs. It really isn't so hard.

Would Moyes have worked out with other players, no one knows, but I don't think it would have ever worked well under him. But I know sure as hell that Giggsy is an even worse option.

I agree. Fletcher and carrick in MF is a joke. If they are still starting next season i give up.

Nearly puked up after that display. Their goalkeeper went off fresher than when he started the match. He did not have to make 1 save in the game. What a terrible, terrible performance.

Jeez I thought we'd actually have some results going into the end of the season. At least some attacking football and desire from the players but all of that was missing today. I feel very disappointing despite the game being basically meaningless.

Well that's it really.Passion and commitment can get you far but take it away and take creativity with you and you have results like this

Moyes ruined them this season, you can't fix it in a week. We need a big change this summer because moyes fecked up royally this year.

I'm really struggling to see how we need to sell a load of players because Moyes ruined them. I'm seeing the need for a big change because the player are either past it or don't have the right attitude and application.

The key question here is... why? Was it the motivation? Obviously not. So why? There's shit going down behind closed doors that we don't know about.

everyone mentioning the wide play....its our non existent midfield. Carrick went up the first few times and then back to normal....besides slipping several times. Fletcher...hang up your boots end of the season. Love the lad...but retire son.

Van Gaal will beat into them professionalism and attitude. If not, they can feck off. Wearing the United jersey ought to mean something!

O do feck off. Rooney has been just as bad as our worst performers all season.

I'm assuming you're not being sarcastic.

That is true when he wasn't fit, but when he has been fit than he was one of the few this season that hasn't massively underperformed on a very consistent basis. That list also includes Januzaj, DDG and Mata. All the rest has been shown out this season for what they truely are, not good enough, I'll throw a bone to RVP because he hasn't been fit either (and when he was he scored the goals).

United in the last couple of games, not brilliant, but not far as fecked as they were today. Difference between United today and last week (en the weeks before) Rooney on the pitch.

But no go on and bitch how he is the personification of every single problem here at United, while the truth maybay closer to the opposite.

Why need to change the pair of wingers from last week???
My observations on todays team.
Ashley Young looked like he playing with a haunch back whenever he gets the ball with his back facing the opponents goal?
Nani is already dreaming about the world cup.
Darren Fletcher runs 20 feet with the ball before passing 5 feet to another player.
Hernandez is not a ball player and yet he is coming back to mid-field to collect the ball. He should be running into spaces when United has the ball and attacking.
Carrick is slow and frequently loose his footing and looked like a player on the take?
Ryan Giggs and the rest of the "class of 92" is scared of leaving out those senior players.
Hope that Van Gaal will get rid of the dead woods.
I suggest for the rest of the games, play the reserves and let all the senior player go on their holidays.
Some of them looked tired and some lost interest.

And both of them stayed on but the Spaniard was taken off......the ugly face of racism at Utd

I suppose that's what you get from fielding a severely 2nd tier lineup up front. We failed to make any chances of note and our wingers were absolutely dire out there. The only saving grace for them was that they were pulled off early, whereas our central midfield duo of Carrick and Fletcher stayed the course. Absolutely woeful the both of them.

Other clubs are really going to fleece us if we go in for their central midfielders this summer. They just know we are desperate.

The only positive is that this puts us firmly out of the Europa League. Thank feck for that.

What's so disappointing is that we lost & I wasn't expecting it. Under Moyes I accepted a loss as I didn't expect us to win.

I'm pretty confident we'd have won under Moyes, he'd figured how to play against the lesser teams in the end. Just no one else.

Its great having Giggs on the sidelines as a gimmick but id rather we'd just let Moyes stay out the season rather than doing this to a legend.

That's only 8 negatives...phew! I thought you were going to call for major changes

Moyes was getting rid of a lot of players. hernandez was gone, ferdinand, evra, fletcher, carrick, young maybe. what happened is that they realized there is no point playing for him and hence we played shit.

The irish pundits have been going on and on for about five years now, that the man utd MF is shocking. The CMs are rubbish, the wingers are rubbish.

Ferguson like mourinho got the a team out of them. But they cant pass, retain the ball or make the right decision. Only mata looks good.

A big clearout is needed.

I agree, Van Gaal seems more and more appropriate as the new manager, he's supposed to be a tough old bastard, and these players need a bloody good kick up the arse.

No way, we are well rid of Moyes.

True and our wide players, in particular, were atrocious today (no surprises there considering the lack of quality). I think the higher tempo football that we wanted would have led to more chances being created though.

The key question here is... why? Was it the motivation? Obviously not. So why? There's shit going down behind closed doors that we don't know about.

You'd think with the amount of leaks we've had this season, that would have come out. I think it might be more to do with the confidence being so low from the poor season that it's hard to pick them up.

Oh Snap!

So you're a nasty person and a bully. Is it just today or as per usual? Just curious

Carrick has been one of our worst players this season, massive blame falls on his shoulders for our collapse since Fergie left. Truely this guy has fallen so low comparred to his performances last year.

We have always said, we don't have the best midfield, but alteast we have Carrick and when he is fit, he performs on a consistent basis. This season, he is actually been one of our worst midfielders, says it all about this season.
